I've stayed in a number of hotels in Budapest on business and have to say this is the best. A beautiful grand building that's been restored with modern touches. The rooms are large with extremely comfortable beds. Service is warm and friendly. If you are looking for a hotel with the wow factor in Budapest I'd highly recommend this one!

The pictures don’t do the hotel justice. It was just amazing. The building itself is impressive but when you step inside you are blown away by how extravagant the hotel itself is. The staff were very attentive, check in was hassle free and very quick. They also were very knowledgeable about the best restaurants, bar and wine bars in the...

My husband and I just came back from a stay at the Boscolo Budapest Hotel. We are seasoned travelers who have traveled the globe, and this was an excellent experience! Upscale, elegant, wow-factor lobby, public areas and rooms. Attentive, professional service by everyone we came in contact with. Their New York Cafe and New York Salon (fine dining) were beautiful....

An amazingly glorious mansion in the center of Budapest. Friendly people and luxurious spatious rooms. Do not miss a dinner at the famous New York restaurant! Once there try to avoid the Hungarian Wines ( not their cup of tea). It worths trying Gulash ( the famous meat soup) as a starter!

After reading many reviews about this hotel I knew what to expect so I wasn't surprised or disappointed. As many said before, the Boscolo is a beautiful place, with an amazing lobby and breakfast room. The service at the front desk is very attentive always with a high standard service. I was always treated with respect and niceness and everything...

Boscolo lived up to its name & style. It was a destination wedding. Three days of fun, all for this evening. It took place under a beautiful atrium of the hotel. The event was extremely well orchestrated by the hosts. After the matrimony, cocktails and finger food were served. Guests congratulated the couple, family & friends. Half hour later everyone...

This is an exquisitely beautiful hotel. the lobby alone is worth the price of admission. the rooms was comfortable and well thought out. The bed had the best mattress I have ever slept on bar none. It's a modest walk to great shopping, the train station, thermal baths.

Simply one of the finest hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The customer service was exceptional, with fine spoken English. The value in terms of price vs some decidely average 4 star hotels elsewhere in Europe was considerable. The building is grand and beautiful. Whilst the rooms as expected were not of the same ilk, they...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
