We stayed at this hotel for the weekend in May 2013 with a group of colleagues. The hotel appeared small but quite good-looking, pleasant and friendly. Rooms were nice, modern and neat. The stuff was very helpful - I asked for a good room with a nice view in my booking request (by email) and my room was far bigger...

I booked this hotel online after reading some reviews posted. A week before we depart, this hotel started to send me e-mails welcoming us in advance, that was very nice.... Upon arrival, we were picked up by their pre-arrange taxi and this make our journey so comfortable. Breakfast is good and I like the natural light coming from the top...

We spent four nights there and could not choose a better place. Good location, spotlessly clean baby-frinedly (!) hotel, accommodating staff who spoke perfect English. The - otherwise excellent - breakfast could be more varied but I understand that this would not a problem for travelers who will spent less time than we did (after four days, we felt we...

The hotel well located: only a stroll from the parliament and no more than 5 minutes walk from Margareth Island. However, there's no night-life whatsoever around it, unless you're willing to walk 5-10 minutes. The room wasn't massive, but clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable, temperature controls working nicely, and a nice big bathroom was definitely a...

I can’t praise this hotel enough. We had a lovely stay here over February half-term. Really close to many of the sights; we walked everywhere, even though we’re not the most energetic family. Very quiet at night; our room faced the street, and we had no disturbance at all. The reception staff are very polite, helpful and professional, with impeccable...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
