We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The hotel is clean, well-run and the staff are very friendly as well as very helpful and efficient. Our room was well equipped. Things we liked in particular were: proper hangers, standalone shower not shower over the bath, safe, we could open the window and plenty of space in the...

We had a fabulous stay in this hotel (couple aged 24 & 25). The staff were very friendly - always acknowledging us with a hello or a smile. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast from 7 - 10 with hot & cold food - I personally enjoyed the smoked salmon with eggs followed by a few fresh pastries. Location is 2 mins...

My wife and I have just spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel. The staff have all been very friendly, and nothing was a problem, they even supplied us with an adaptor for our UK plugs. The hotel is in a great location for many of the sights, as well as good connections close by for the transport system.

What a lovely hotel! From the moment we entered to the moment we checked out, nothing but wonderful service. The hotel is spotless and the staff were all amazing - so helpful and welcoming. Also well located, we walked absolutely everywhere. Breakfast is included and was really good too.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. The hotel is clean and modern and staff are friendly. The hotel is in a quiet part of town but if you turn right coming out of the hotel and another right at the top of the street it will lead you straight to the basilica area. The rooms are nice and the windows...

Stayed at Hotel Parliament for 3 nights in February. Arrived with chocolate and champagne in the room which was great on arrival. The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn't be any more helpful. There is plenty of choice to choose from at breakfast but can get quite busy in the small breakfast area. The main centre is around...

We are just back from a 4 day break in Budapest. Great hotel to stay in. Centrally located, spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable bed, good strong shower, helpful staff, great choice of got and cold food for breakfast, complimentary tea, coffee and water all day long. Short walk to metro station, shops, bars and restaurants. Difficult to fault really. If I...

Nice hotel, modern and well decorated with everything working well - good breakfast, nice bathrooms and good showers, clean rooms. The only issue was the rooms and common area were overheated. Staff is very helpful.

A lovely, clean, comfortable hotel. Rooms tastefully decorated, shower great, breakfast unbeatable. Staff can't do enough for you. Free hot drinks and bottled water in lobby during the day. 3 minutes walk from Parliament building and the river, about ten minutes to the Basillica, so everything in easy reach. No teas or coffees in room but we asked for a...

The entrance to this updated old building is funky to say the least. We found the location great for accessing everywhere - buy a transit pass and you can get anywhere. The parliament buildings are close by as is the river. Rooms are a bit smallish but they are fitted out well. Breakfast is very good and covers all you will...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
