I came to Budapest for sightseeing as the summer was turning to autumn in 2016. Having done some thorough searches on TripAdvisor I settled on the Casati Budapest hotel. I was delighted with this choice indeed this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I cannot praise the building and the staff highly enough. It is clearly an...

We stayed in the Casati hotel from 19 march until 22 march 2017. At the airport we took the bus and then the metro and found the hotel easily. It is only 100 meters from 'Opera'. The staff was very kind when we arrived. I expected that we had the choice of the room (it says on the website that...

Very comfortable hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety such as scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit and various juices. Room was average in size. Bathroom shower was quite roomy. One of the nicer showers I've experienced in Europe for the price! Room was facing the street but was pretty quiet. Not a busy street. Location...

Breakfast 11/10 - hot and cold Rooms 11/10 - nice and big Staff 11/10 - Incredibly helpful and knew every train, bus or connection you would need to get where you were going. When we wanted to use the sauna, Laszlo would run down to turn it on (it takes about 25 minutes) Location 11/10 - Within five minutes of...

The rooms are neat, spare and well-furnished. The building and its courtyard are lovely. The large pop-art hallway paintings are exciting. The breakfast was delicious and expansive (and even included sparkling wine!). The staff were helpful and friendly. And the location is excellent, only 2 blocks from the Opera and 4 blocks from the Synagogue triangle. There are many restaurants...

Perfect location in the middle of the city about 40 second walk from the metro and opera house - not that you need the metro when the next 3 consecutive stations in either direction are within walking distance. Rooms were clean, bright, cosy and modern. Staff helpful and friendly throughout. Breakfast was decent and well organised. For the first two...

The four school friends having reached the tender age of 60 thought 5 days in Budapest would be ideal and this Hotel was an excellent choice. We had rooms on the 1st floor overlooking the central courtyard (16 and 17). It was quiet, light, roomy and the showers and beds were excellent. I used the small basement gym every morning....

We loved this hotel. It was clean and the rooms were spacious and spotless. The breakfast range and quality was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and there were a few extra nice touches like the bottle of sparkling wine left in our room on arrival. We also used the hotel taxi service which was efficient and the driver was...
