Just got back from Budapest. Stayed in this great hotel. Very central. Just around the corner from the Christmas Markets. The Danube was just across the road and the hop on hop off buses 5 minutes up the road. Lovely modern hotel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and lovely and warm to come back to after being out in the...

Friendly staff, great room, great breakfast and excellent central location. The high street and Christmas markets are just minutes away and the Danube is at the end of the street. We recomend a trip to Vienna which only takes 2hours 50 minutes at 50 euros return each for first class!! Worth staying for one or two nights but note it...

Located right behind the Marriott on the river, Zenit Palace looks like a palace from the outside, but everything in side is sleek & modern. They try very hard to please. Rooms are snug but plenty of room to get around. windows open for air. Roomy closet but NO DRAWERS for your clothes. Only a few cubby holes. Breakfast in...

Very nice hotel. It was also in a great location. It was only a block from the river and maybe 3 blocks from where the river cruises dock. It was also within walking distance to the Central Market. We had a very nice buffet breakfast both days including eggs cooked to order.

The area of Budapest was recommended to us by a local, and it was defiantly central which was great, as we could walk everywhere we needed. Unfortunately our room (316) has no wifi - it dropped as soon as you were walking down the lobby to our corridor, and we weren't given any kind of offer of partial refund, free...

We stayed as a group of five friends on our first visit to Budapest. The hotel was very positive before our visit in giving us the information that we needed and responding to our request for tea and coffee making facilities in our room. As other reviewers have said the hotel offered warm, comfortable accommodation with all the facilities that...

Nice modern hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Rooms are spacious and the king size beds are very comfy. Rooms had good heating, it was cold in November when we were there but still nice and warm in the room. Restaurant next door is great, good foods and wine and very reasonable. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
