I admit to being a little worried after reading some of the reviews. People forget that 4 stars denotes the facilties included (gym bar etc) not the quality! But the location of it is perfect to get in and out of town as it is right on top of a metro station. Yes the rooms are a little dated and...

We stayed here in November for 2 nights. It takes about 30 mins to walk down to the main town. The reception as you walk into the hotel is very modern - the rest of the hotel is older and the rooms are small but clean. For a budget hotel it was not too bad. Our only complaint was the...

You stay at the Golden Park Hotel as a budget option so to manage expectations, when staying here you are not booking into a palace. That said, there are some basics to offering a bed and breakfast option wherever you are and there are some draw backs with this hotel. We booked this hotel though an operator at an equivalent...

Fast check in ,the staff was very polite and helpfull ,the room was a bit small but very clean. The location is great because the metro station is just across the street. The breakfast was nice but as a chocolate lover i would prefer more croissant with chocolate, the french toast was nice and you should try there potato shalad.

It's located just about in central Budapest and right beside the metro station. It's really easy and convenient to commute in and out as a result. The breakfast is pretty average, they have every food except for vegetarian and vegan alike, not many options at all. The staffs are friendly. I don't know about the other room situation but ours...

This is a three star hotel in a very central location. As usual in Europe, there are no tea making facilities in the room but the shops and bars are very close so no need to be thirsty! Beds are comfortable and the staff are very helpful. They helped us check in with the airline and printed out the boarding...

I would rate this hotel as 2 Star. The first room we were given can only be described as a "cell" with two of the smallest single beds I have ever seen. We bit the bullet and went back down and asked for a bigger room. The unsmiling male Receptionist gave us a room on the top floor. It was...

This stay was part of a trip to Prague (3 nights) and Budapest (4 nights) with a train journey between the two. The Golden Park was right next to the Railway Station which seemed a good thing for us to walk across to but the area was very noisy with traffic, trams and endless klaxon horns from the protective services...

It's definitely not a 4 star in terms of what UK visitors would expect. More like a 2. But it's an OK base to explore the city if you don't want to pay much. Right next to a subway station. Staff were pleasant. I thought the breakfast was decent (it was included in my room rate.) Plenty of hot and...

Probably a 3star hotel - Staff were excellent, room was clean and everything worked. The hotel is getting to look a little tired. the breakfast was ok but the same everyday no variation and just lacked a little bit on presentation. The location was ideal a metro station just outside with frequent trains to the centre [every 4 minutes] and...
