We stayed 8 nights in the IBIS Budapest City in rooms 208 and 210. By booking early we had very good room rates. The rooms were identical, being of a decent size for IBIS (probably 5x3m). The bathroom had the usual IBIS hand basin, with good lighting, and an excellent shower. Our beds were comfortable and we slept well. Rooms...

Eventhough the hotel is located in a party-street close to a busy square, it was quiet on the upper floors. The decoration is simple, bur modern, and it is very clean. The breakfast is good with something for every taste. I missed a refrigerator and a water heater at the room.

It is a clean and good located hotel. Easy to go everywhere in the city and close to the metro station. The stuff was very pleasant and helpful to give advise when needed. The breakfast was enough for its price.

We chose this small hotel for its location as we wanted to take advantage of Budapest’s excellent public transport system, and we were not disappointed. The metro stop is just about 100 metres away and there were various bus and tram stops close by. We got to everywhere we wanted with no trouble at all – just had to look...

The hotel is perfectly located in center budapest with a metro station few steps away. There are convenient stores around and also restaurants. The room is quite small but clean and comfortable. The staff speaks good english and is helpfull. Considering the pricing it is really to recommend.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
