The hotel has really nice location. Room clear and nicely equiped. But two things needs huge improvement. 1) the staff on recepcion - not very friendly, slow service 2) early breakfast - had to leave to airport at 6:30. Although the breakfast in majn restaurant was ready, we had to use the lobby bar and have recieved 7days croissants. That...

Great welcome from Barbara. Helpful, friendly and informative. Welcome drink voucher given and used late evening. Easy access to centre. Clean and super value for money. Good sized room with controllable air conditioning!

It has very comfortable bed. The best, what i have ever seen in hotels. The hotel has good location. 15 minutes walk to the center, 15 minutes walk to the railway station Keleti. There is a SPAR supermarket near the hotel. Yes, there are a lot of homeless people in the subway near the hotel, but it is a problem...

As other Ibis hotels, We liked this hotel as well. Size and cleanliness of rooms were good, breakfast was good, better than I expected ) Location was good all transportation is just outside the hotel. The negative thing was the windows, which were not soundproof.

The hotel is located very close to the metro station, so it was very convenient. It took about an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. We bought the 'transfer ticket' at the airport, take bus E200 and then M3 and M2, it was easy enough. There is a SPAR supermarket nearby if you need any snacks for...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
