Stayed here at the end of October, standard Ibis, if you have stayed in one before you know what to expect, rooms were clean, service was good, and well priced for the central location. Rooms were quiet enough that I wasn't disturbed even though it is a busy area.

Hotel is clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, standard buffet style breakfast but plenty of choice, beds are comfy and spacious, only issues I found were that the drinks prices are a bit high and there was a load of noise one morning outside of the hotel due to building works being carried out elsewhere...

The location was definitely the greatest part about this hotel, being a good 10 minute walk to the Octogan and Andrassy Avenue and Kazincy Street, which is a must visit for the street food at Karavan and Szimpla Kertmozi Ruin Pub. It took roughly 20 minutes to walk to the Danube river and 30 minutes to Heroes Square. The actual...

It's quite close to all "important" tourist spectacles and to night-life as well. Restaurants, pubs are just a few steps away from the entrance/exit. The rooms are average ibis styles, fits all needs: clear room & bathroom, comfortable bed, working air condition. :) It's an acceptable place for a couple of nights, the price/value rate is also really great.

Good staff, very good location. Everything was okay, it was after all an I is hotel. I should not expect more. Small things like tissues and more towels could be nice but it was okay. Housekeeping lady was very nice and cleaned well.

Its a very nice hotel with a very helpful staff. The location is not the best so you need to walk around 20-25 in to the city centre but I think the value for money is good. I recommend it. The housekeeping needs a bit upgrade.

This hotel is good, clean, with comfortable beds, and wifi. We had backyard view which is nice and makes you feel you are in old town. They provide a variety of dishes for the breakfast. The metro station is just in 1 minute walk, the center is in 15 minutes walk, the central railway station is also 15 minutes walk....

Front desk staff were always very helpful recommending places to eat and visit. They also made reservations for us. The hotel offers a full breakfast at an additional cost. It is...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
