I stayed in the fabulous hotel during a business trip. The room was clean and the decor was outstanding. The bed was relaxing and the breakfasts were great. Me and my colleagues really enjoyed the out door bar with the nice scenery. I would recommend this hotel, its relaxing after a long day of business.

Quite a shame I am stuck here for some days. This does not resemble what I expect of Sofitel. Dated furniture, a bed as hard as a rock and for things such as reasonable internet I have to pay a lot per day. The staff are nice and helpful with tweaking my bed a bit so that I will probably...

We stayed here for 2 nights in late December just before Christmas. The Concierge team is friendly and helpful. Before we came, they offered us to upgrade the room with the view to the river and Chain Bridge at relatively marginal price, which we agreed to take. They put us in a room with truly amazing and beautiful view to...

We cruised on APT Amaverde from Amsterdam to Budapest. A magnificent river Cruise with great inclusions both on board and shore tours. The surprise was having a top class hotel in Budapest prior to the flight next day to Copenhagen to join Royal Princess for a Scandinavian/Baltics 12 day cruise. Chain Bridge Sofitel would please royalty! Spacious rooms and amenities,...

Perfect location, we have got free room upgrade and we had view on the bridge and we had in total two nice rooms. Good breakfast. Big rooms. Clean. One negative - terrible SPA service (pedicure, manicure).

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
