We stayed at this hotel only one night and everything was ok. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, the price was ok and the location was excellent. The only negative thing that I can say is that it was a bit cold during the night. Maybe the radiator had some issues, since in another close room,...

We got a good pre-paid deal on a junior suite with 2 adults, kids aged 6, 3, 1. After initially being surprised by our head count (it was impossible to enter 3 small kids on the web site), they accommodated us in the room by pulling the couch/chairs and bringing in fold-away beds for the children. Some of the people...

I eas hesitating to rate this hotel as average, because in fact it is good, but not yet very good. Why? Positive: check-in/out was friendly and polite, no queues, information provided was comprehensive about the services of the hotel. I found the value/price ratio also very good. Location is very good, 2-3 mins from the South Railway Terminal, and the...

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
