Nestled in the heart of the city, Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest garners high praise for its stellar amenities, including a lauded spa and attentive concierge services. Guests revel in the comfort of its modern, pristine rooms, although a few mention inconsistent temperature control and views. The hotel's prime location is celebrated for its easy access to local attractions and transit.
While opinions on value vary, the service generally impresses with its professionalism, despite occasional reports of delays and rudeness. Overall, the blend of classic and contemporary design contributes to the hotel's charming atmosphere.

Hotel's Favourite
I have just returned from a stay at this beautiful hotel. It was a belated celebration for my daughter’s 21st birthday.
Oh my goodness! This is one very beautiful hotel. The location is perfect for everything you need to do in beautiful Budapest.
You know a hotel gets it right when everything just ‘flows seamlessly’. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect!
A really lovely touch when we got to our room was a beautiful hand written note and a most delicious cake to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Little touches like that mean such a lot! Thank you so much!
Our room was immaculate and spacious.
We started our day with a swim in the gorgeous pool, had a work out in the gym with a great view of Fashion Street.
Then on to breakfast which was a veritable feast of first class ingredients. Staff were pleasant and very efficient.
The whole ambiance of this hotel is classy, relaxing and professional.
There are many beautiful areas to just sit and watch the world go by both inside and out.
I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for a most wonderful stay. It was everything we hoped for and more.
You should all be very proud of the service you provide.
Well done Team Kempinsky we honestly can’t wait to return.

Our stay in Kempinski was a bonus to our Budapest visit. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful, especially the guest relations and concierge. The food is good though a bit pricey . The bedroom was cozy, bed and pillows comfortable. We could open a bit of the window so the air was not so dry. The location is strategic, just right at the Fashion Street, accessible to many cafes and restaurants, also near to the metro, city centre, and the River Danube. We will definitely return to this hotel if we visit Budapest again.

I was given a voucher for my birthday to the Kempinski SPA, and I was pleasantly surprised. Compared to some other 5 star hotels in the immediate area, the Spa at the Kempinski was large well staffed and very clean. The facilities are very generous with over 4 or 5 different types of sauna and steam rooms to choose from. The locker rooms are large and private. The pool area was also fairly large, compared to some other hotels in the area. There is plenty of space, and I felt like I was the only guest there, even though there were a few other guests as well. The lay out of Spa creates a lot of privacy, so I didn’t see or hear other guests who may have been using the Gym, which was great!
The staff were polite and friendly, and I was welcomed with great big smiles. I was offered a drink and was shown around their there facilities on arrival. All the staff wished me a happy birthday, which was very thoughtful indeed. The staff all seemed like one big family. Special thank you to Tammy at the SPA reception and Erika my masseuse.I will be back!
If your are looking for a nice SPA to spend an afternoon in I would recommend the Kempinski hotel SPA over the Ritz-Carlton SPA any day of the week. The Kempinski is 5 star all the way. Thank you.

I booked this hotel for a weekend as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend and our stay was amazing! This was still before lockdown so I cannot comment as to any changes since.
I booked through Amex and paid approx £330 for 2 nights (excl breakfast) which included a $100 SPA voucher as they had an offer on with Amex at the time. This is an extremely reasonable price for the level of care and service offered especially for those used to Western Europe prices. I should add that I booked this fairly late and also this was Valentines weekend!
The staff are extremely polite and welcoming, they speak English perfectly and were able to accommodate a special request - I called in advance to ask for a bottle of champagne in the room upon arrival and it was there as agreed, no reminders needed! We also received a room upgrade (I think this was part of the Amex offer though).
The food was excellent, on our arrival we ordered room service which was delivered quickly and was delicious!
The location is perfect as it is so close to the centre and all the landmarks as well as a lot of top restaurants.
We also used the SPA where we had a couples massage and time in the SPA (excellent big pool and steam room). Our treatment was great, both me and my boyfriend enjoyed it very much and the pressure was exactly how each of us likes it.
This place really offers you a VIP service. Inside the hotel is luxurious but tasteful and staff are always there to help! They also offer airport transfers if required.
Staying in such an incredible hotel really made our visit to the beautiful Budapest even more unforgettable!

Where to start? The constant drilling was a nightmare. What I found the worst is our basin sink plug was stuck inside the sink. It took 4 phone calls and one visit to reception to have this addressed. The water was at the top of the basin and just disgusting for about 20 hours. Quite putrid to brush teeth and wash your face. Whilst the grey water was sitting there a bar of soap fell in and we didn’t want to fetch it out. Housekeeping swung by, dug the water logged dirty soap block out for us and put it on the bench. How revolting. Couldn’t even replace with a clean and fresh block of soap. Other toiletries were not replenished. This was annoying as we ran out of cotton buds. So between the jackhammering and filthy bathroom it was a nightmare stay. Totally not 5 stars.

Dear traveller1974_9 Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us on Trip Advisor. We view your feedback as a crucial opportunity to refresh and improve our services at all levels. Your input regarding the less than flawless housekeeping will be evaluated by our management team for instant enhancement; rest assures this is not representing the high standards we strive and appraised by the guests usually. While reading your review, we totally empathize with how frustrating it must have felt with the partial noise related to our recent upgrade works. Certainly, there is no such best time for it, however convinced that our newly renovated rooms will meet you approval upon your next visit, shall you give us another chance to demonstrate the level of service that we are truly able to deliver. In hope that you will visit us again and give us an opportunity to reverse your most recent negative memories into a wonderful one. Warmest regards, Silvia Rajniak Executive Assistant Manager

Regarding location I thought it was central with the ability to walk most places within 20-25 minutes. It took five minutes to the river front and five minutes to st stephens Basilica. Had great restaurants all in 10-15 mins walking distance. Baths were a lot further so we got a taxi.
The rooms looked like they were recently done up. Everything was clean and the bed was very big and comfy. The bathroom was gorgeous. Lovely big spacious rooms.
The staff were both professional and friendly. When we arrived we were greeted by a porter who took our bags upto our room.
The bar was very nice, very swanky. The food however, was just ok nothing special. We stayed for Christmas and they had a real Christmas tree all done up.
The spa was very small, but me and my mother had a relaxing time. It did begin to get a big crowed when we were leaving.
I'd definitely recommend this hotel, and if i ever come back to Budapest I would stay here again.

It is a great hotel with great location, but the games they play with room upgrades leaves a sour taste. They have five different room types, not counting the three suite types. The front desk has become a sales desk as they offer you upgrades at €100-300/night! If the hotel has empty rooms, why not offer your guests a complimentary upgrade?! If you improve our experience, we are more likely to return.
We had booked through Amex Travel, so were supposed to get complimentary room upgrade. The assigned room was on 3rd floor facing the park, which had a loud music party going on. The next assigned room was on 5th floor and way smaller - but supposedly the same category! We finally were given a room on the 8th floor, away from the main street and park. It was about the same size as the first one but a little better furnished.
Other than the room assignment, we enjoyed our stay. Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, drinks at the bar and dessert at the Living Room. Great food and service, especially at the Living Room.
On checkout, was told that the breakfast and Living Room charges would not be covered under the AmEx $100 Food & Beverage credit. When I challenged that, the front desk supervisor blamed the accounting department and credited it!
It didn’t have to be this frustrating!

Dear 'SKG109', Warmest greetings from Hungary to California and first and foremost, thank you so very much for taking the time and share your notes with us here on Tripadvisor. We are delighted that you have enjoyed your stay with us and had an overall positive experience. Thank you so very much for your compliment on the culinary offerings, great food service, and the endorsement of the Living Room. At the same time, we are saddened that not every aspect of your stay was entirely up to your expectations. As you kindly pointed out, the hotel offers various rooms and suites, and upon arrival, and upon arrival, guests might still take advantage of a higher room or suite category, at their discretion, for a special fee. Indeed, for members of the American Express Hotel Reward Program, besides its terms and conditions, special benefits will apply and the hotel was providing you with these perks without hesitation. We were alarmed to read that obviously, our efforts were in vain, letting you go on a negative note. We do apologize for any inconveniences related to imperfections in our communication, dropping a shadow on your recent stay. Rest assured we will do our utmost to provide you with a flawless front desk experience upon your next stay as well, as this is what we are dedicated to. Looking very much forward to welcoming you on your next Budapest visit, I remain with kind regards, Zoltán Tóth Executive Assistant Manager

Just returned home after a 4 day stay at the Kempinski in Budapest. From arrival to departure everything about our stay was fantastic. We had taken advantage of an offer for standby discounted upgrade and ended up with the upgrade, so our room was spacious with a decent sitting area and view of Fashion Street. We took advantage of the spa for great massage treatments, the living room for coffee and cake and had drinks at the bar. In all cases the service was super friendly. Our visit coincided with my birthday and I received a complemtary birthday cake with personalized card. When I took the cake to the living room downstairs to have with coffee they added complimentary champagne as well! The location is extremely central and we were able to walk everywhere. Only took the tram once due to rain. Would definitely return and will seek out Kempinski hotels in other destinations.

Perfect hotel. Great service - above and beyond, super tasty dining options (Nobu and Bistro Bar).
The spa treatments are divine, and the room was excellent. Transfer service from and to the airport was perfect and reasonably priced. My arrival was delayed by 1 hour and he was still waiting for me.
Even the location is the best - close to everything, surrounding shops open around the clock, metro station, designer shopping, and historical sites and attractions, all within walking distance.
Recommended for everybody! Not very cheap but great value for money.

Very centrally located hotel with incredible guest services experience which matches most kempinski hotels around the globe.
Great breakfast, excellent bar, lobby lounge and very well appointed rooms with walk in shower.
Smooth checkin and welcoming checkout.
My only suggestion would be to add information on arrival to inform guests that their room had been disinfected or not because with coronavirus it’s good to keep guests worries at bay.
