It is a very small and nice hotel. All was very clean. Staff was really great !!! Very good Location in central (Metro/Train/Vaci Street). In the room was free bottle with water and coffee. The room clean was daily. Only 2 problem: 1) WIFI not works or works very poor 2) Elevator small and sometimes not work.

We visit there about four nights and I have to say that the staff here was great! They all were warm and made us feel welcomed. Nice additional bonus was that they upcraded our room without asking or addittional charces! Room was very clean everyday and breakfast was tasteful. Location is excellent too!

I'm not sure in what system this hotel would be rated 4 star. It certainly didn't match up to my expectations of a four star. The rooms are very small , with little room to move around the twin beds which were smaller than normal singles. There were no tea / coffee making facilities in the room and the TV...

Dear Claire C, Thank you for your positive comment about or staff's performance, the cleaning, the facilities and the location. It is true that we cannot do heating and air-conditioning at the same time in the rooms but it is early March now, and 0-2C at night so heating is necessary, in the daytime the guests can open the windows...

Very attentive staff. Extremely helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was amazing and lots of choice. Very reasonably priced. Room was spacious and clean. Can't fault the facilities. Would stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff members, easily located and very central to all the areas you wish to visit. Comfortable stay, worth noting that if you are a group bigger than 2, you won't have your own bed but will be put on a sofa bed Spa and sauna ok, but looks a lot grander in the photos Overall a nice...

Me and hubby stayed there for a long weekend. We got free transfer from the airport to the hotel. The employees are very polite, helpful and service oriented. Customer satisfaction is their focus. Location is perfect, near vaci utca, central market hall, gellert bath etc. We walked from the hotel to the tourist attraction, we need no public transport. The...

My experience at Residence Baron was a good one. Budapest is a very large city so it is hard to be in a good location close to everything. This hotel is close to Liberty Bridge, Gellert Spa, Gellert Hill, Central market. I didn't use public transport and walked everywhere - it's approximately a 30 minute walk to theParliament building and...

Hotel was really clean throughout and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great. The room was basic and we had a view of the wall and could only just see the sky! We bed was terrible and we both had a bad back. It was soft and worn out with a mattress topper added for extra softness! Breakfast was...

A group of us arranged to stay in this hotel for a family birthday. A dinner was arranged for everybody on the special day and I have to say the hotel did us all proud. Not only for the dinner but for the whole of our stay (there were a number of us!). All the members of staff we encountered...

This hotel is in a very good location just next to the river, the central market and Gellerts spa, but a 15-20 minute walk to the Jewish quarters where many of the more lively restaurants and bars are located. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a very good stay. The only downsides is that you have...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
