The hotel decor was all Buda, we loved it. The pictures are accurate. The room was dimly lit, but very comfortable. The window opens so we were able to get fresh air and look down below. The bed was so comfortable and the TV and surround sound speakers offered great ambiance. Everytime we'd walk in the system greeted us. Nice...

I spent a night here about a month ago. This is a great hotel; it has a really nice chillout music in the lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival I was suggested an extra cost for the "executive" room, or some "suite" which was costlier. I took the executive, because I was curious whats so executive about...

This hotel really sets up the mood when you first visit Budapest. The location is excellent on the Pest side just a few minutes walking distance to the Buddha side crossing the Elizabeth bridge. The Lebanese restaurant has very good food and of course the bar with very exotic cocktails is a plus. It is also walking distance to the...

I visited this hotel for my birthday weekend as a surprise from my partner. The staff were extremely helpful, emailing back quickly to answer any questions and to book us a taxi from the airport upon arrival. Throughout our stay the staff were all friendly and happy to help, especially with booking trips/tickets. The room was beautiful, with a comfy...

Stunningly beautiful hotel right in the city centre. Corner suite was just amazing. The food in the Buddha Bar restaurant was just mouth watering. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We took the grandson with us for his 18th birthday. Still at college, he had to study for a short time while we were there. The Internet for us was...

The awesome: The staff here was incredibly helpful and kind! The one man at the front lent me a European charger for my phone because mine wasn't really working. Check in and check out was a breeze. Bar and restaurant staff was friendly ( minus one, but we can't fault everyone else because maybe she was just having a bad...

We so enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. The room was just beautiful and the staff were very helpful. Most of the major sites are within a short walking distance from the hotel. If we return to Budapest, we would stay at the Buddha-Bar Hotel again.

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
