Had a lovely 5 night stay in this excellent apartment, Francesco and Evelin helped make the visit to Budapest a great way to start to our European holiday. All the facilities you need, clean, comfortable and close to supermarkets, restaurants and walking distance to the city centre. As mentioned in earlier reviews the ceiling height in the mezzanine bedroom is...

The flat we stayed in lived up to all our expectations and more. The pictures really does not do it justice. It is very clean, has a modern finish – and we loved having breakfast on our sunny balcony in the mornings. It’s a great central location for exploring Budapest from, and although the apartment is on one of the...

Absolutely loved this apartment. Was a wonderful base for a weekend in Budapest but would also be a lovely place to stay for a longer visit. That flat is fully equipped, very comfortable and extremely clean. The location is great - it is easy to walk everywhere including an area crammed with local cafes and bars. There is even a...

It's a really nice place, cozy, warm, with all the facilities and Francesco is really kind! A wonderful place to be also location wise! Thanks a...

It was a good choice for few nights in Budapest. Very clean and cozy. Kitchen facilities were more than we needed. Francesco(staff and owner) is nice and helpful.I would stay again here for next time. The lift was a little scary at first and takes time to getting used to it.

I totally love the location of this apartment. It is near the subway station and easily accessible to many foods in the region. I felt like living among the locals with the apartment in a private buildings among the residents. The place is kept in good condition and is very clean. However, we did not know that there will be...

We stayed in Budapest for 3 nights and were very happy that we chose Welcome Budapest Apartments. Francesco went out of his way to make our stay excellent, even coming out to welcome us at 22:00 hrs after our long trip in. The kitchen is well stocked and met our needs and having shops nearby made staying in to eat...

We stayed in Welcome Budapest Apartments for 3 nights in September 2014 and were very happy with the apartment we had. Francesco, the owner met us on check in and gave us a brief overview of the area including location of good restaurants. The apartment was centrally located and within walking distance of the major market, good restaurants and the...

We recently enjoyed a 5 night stay in the lovely Welcome Budapest Apartments. The place is fantastic and within walking distance of the majority or tourist attractions in Budapest. I only used one bus the whole stay. The apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay of any length. Iron, washing machine, fully fitted and kitted kitchen, stereo,...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
