Hotel sorted out our inbound taxi journey, cost 13500HUF in a taxi. Check in very smooth including welcome drinks on arrival. We had a room on the 5th floor which included great views over the square. Comfortable bed, 2 pushed singles with 2 duvets. No vanity kit in room (expect this is due to reduction in plastic waste). Bathroom is all glass with no way of covering wall, shower door is frosted but once you get out of the shower it’s full view in, ok as a couple but may be a problem if just friends. Great location very close to parliament building and some superb restaurants. The breakfast is a very expensive option to add on, there is some superb places for breakfast within less than a minutes walk. All in all a perfect hotel to stay in while exploring the capital. I should add it also smells brilliant. Thank you again.

We've just returned from a long weekend trip to this hotel, from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Istvan, and all through the stay he was on hand to answer anything we asked, nothing was too much trouble for him!definitely an asset to this hotel. Our room was lovely, the large comfy bed and pillows were perfect! The free standing bath in the spacious modern bathroom, aswell as the separate shower/ toilet also spot on. We booked breakfast also for our stay that too was good! Will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends.

One of the best hotels belonging to the "OPENING QUINTET" of hotels I have stayed in in recent years.
First, upon entering the hotel, you are offered a glass of champagne as a reception.
The room we got was extremely amazing. On the first floor with a great view of the Szabadsag Square park opposite the hotel.
A four-poster bed that makes you feel like you're in a palace.
The room as a whole, spacious and equipped with everything you can imagine.
Excellent breakfast, rich and varied. A large selection of cheeses, vegetables, sausages, breads, eggs of any kind are prepearing for you at your request.
The kitchen staff and the dining room are at your disposal to fulfill every request, nice submissions and serves and have excellent service consciousness.
The breakfast dining room is open as a restaurant for lunch and dinner for the general public in addition to hotel guests.
The view from the windows of our room which was located on the first floor Overlooking "Szabadsag Square" was amazing. Especially in the early hours of the morning when a thin fog covers the garden.
In my opinion an amazing look.
You are welcome to see the photographs I have attached.

This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent and it was really excellent. The service was super from the moment of arrival until departure - must mention Dora who was really helpful, friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable with all you would expect or need for a short break. The hotel restaurant, Na' Pasta was very good with friendly staff.
The hotel location was great with central Budapest within easy walking distance and loads of restaurants around and about. If we go back, we'll certainly use this hotel again.

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. So convenient to everything without feeling too touristy. The service was above and beyond expectations, the staff did everything in their power to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I’m an IHG member and even though the hotel doesn’t officially join the IHG group until December this year, they honored all of my platinum benefits. The manager on duty pointed out that the holiday weekend gave us free street parking and gave us that option vs the hotel’s daily $40 Euro rate, and he found a nearby spot we could see from our room and parked our car for us. Our room was comfortable, completely renovated with the latest technology and a beautiful view of the park. We had a slight issue with the thermostat which they graciously took care of. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant is lovely with a cool vibe. We will be happy to recommend to others and look forward to returning.

A great hotel with very helpful staff. The room was very nicely laid out, very well furnished, with lot of thoughtful touches - for instance a speaker to be connected to your phone over bluetooth so that you can play your music, their own Spotify playlist, or a Nespresso maker. However, what makes the hotel stand out is the staff - everyone we came into contact with was very helpful. Nicely appointed lobby and a nice restaurant.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay here and it was amazing. From the moment we arrived Bence in particular was welcoming, offered us a drink and helped us check in. He also offered to take our luggage to our room, and gave us a map of the city where he highlighted the main things to do and see. All of the staff were very helpful and assisted us in everything we needed. The hotel as a whole was pristine, with excellent services provided. Everywhere was shining clean and housekeeping did an amazing job of our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing everything we would need for our stay. The hotel also has a spa where you can get a selection of massages. I had a full body massage and it was wonderful. Overall we had the best stay here and would recommend it to anyone coming to Budapest. We will most definitely be returning.

Excellent hotel close to the central area of Budapest, near St. Stephen's Church.
Attentive and friendly staff, in every environment. Some at reception also speak Italian. They make you leave an initial deposit of €50 per night. The structure is welcoming and well furnished in the common areas, just as the rooms are clean, well furnished and well maintained and equipped with every comfort. The only flaw in my opinion are the sheets, cotton a little too stiff, as well as the pillows: one too soft and high and the other hard and low. As for breakfast, my only complaint is that I asked for orange juice and they told me they only had bottled juice, I would have liked traditional freshly squeezed juice. Finally, the hotel also has a small Spa at -1, but I didn't try a massage but I took a tour, it's really very small and therefore you need to book. The sauna is free, I don't think the massages are available, they certainly don't offer couples massages at the moment.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the historic district.
Its privileged location allows you to reach many emblematic places on foot.
Rigorously maintained, the establishment offers large and comfortable rooms. The sound insulation is remarkable. From reception to room service to the restaurant and bar,
the staff is friendly, available and efficient.
We cannot recommend the Verno House enough despite the breakfast which could be improved.
