This hostel is incredible. The rooms are huge, warm, clean and beautiful. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is the best I have ever stayed in. I can't believe how lucky I was to stay here.

Pal's far exceeded our expectations. My friends and I stayed over the weekend in a four bed mixed dorm, which was more like an apartment than anything! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and the view from our room was incredible too. The staff at reception were really helpful too!

We stayed at the private room w/bathroom for 4 nights. The apartment was big and very clean! The people are cool, helpful and honest. We also bought their transfer from/to the airport which was worthy. All in it was a great experience in a very nice hostel/apartment :)

Stayed in the hostel for 7 nights, Oct 23-Oct 30. Got a single room with shared bathroom in apartment on the 2nd floor of the building next to one where check in desk was located. The payment at hostel was accepted in cash only (euros or local huf). The premises were shared between offices and hostel apartments i guessed. Room... More

Thank you for your kind words and again very sorry for the bed bugs. But your assumption is wrong. We have a strong sanitary policy. We do preventive extermination in every half a year and we inspect the beds at every cleaning. There was no bedbug infestation for a long time. The other rooms of the apartment was not infected.... Fantastic location close to three metro lines, next to St. Stephen's, close to the river and many sights. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside. Was in a building just a few doors down from the reception, with a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms shared with just two other rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The... We went as a group of 4 students staying in one room. It was a great hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. The views from the balcony of the Basilica was amazing, as it was right outside- so an excellent location. The rooms were spacious, and facilities were sufficient for necessities as we were out sightseeing and eating out... More

We rent a apartment for family trip. The apartment is nice and the staff is friendly, the room we stayed is at the 1st floor by the street side, the ground floor is a bar which makes noise till night, the basilica is really closed but the church bell ringed from early morning by hourly, it's disturb our sleep.... The private rooms are in another building, a few doors up from the main hostel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a shared bathroom and kitchenette. The best thing about this hostel is the brilliant location (right next to St Stephens basilica) and the excellent service from the staff. Breakfast is not included in the price, but free tea... Me and two friends stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our Interrailing trip. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We paid for the transfer from the airport with Pals which was only €24 for all of us and the transfer was there within 5 minutes of getting off the plane. When we got near to the... More

This place was amazing. The hostel is a series of apartments all around the main square right in the city center so the location is unbeatable. The room was massive with a great common area and full kitchen. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The place was also spotless. Would recommend this place for sure

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
