Stayed at the Boscolo Residence for 5 nights and was extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and upgraded us to a bigger room at time of check-in. The taxi from the airport cost us around 12 000 HUF which was not too bad, however the journey back was only 8 500 HUF. Our room was extremely spacious and very... More

Had a long weekend away with a friend at the end of August. I have to stay the staff we're great, very accommodating and helped with the numerous questions we had pretty much every time on our first trip to Budapest. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The apartment itself was a great size, separate bedrooms and the bathroom... More

Stayed here on a weeklong visit to Budapest. We stayed in a very spacious 2 BR suite. It was duplexed and would accommodate at least 5 people with extra beds. It was nice having the kitchen for morning coffee and tea and being attached to the Hotel Boscolo, we easily walked over for spa treatments and a nice breakfast and... More

Would not recommend staying here. Area was somewhat seedy and not close to anything worth seeing. We had a two bedroom apartment on an upper floor. The long hallway corridors are dark and unlit until you start to walk down the hallway, then the lights go on automatically or you need to push the light switch to turn them on.... More

We stayed here two years ago for a few days while visiting multiple cities in Europe. Were so impressed with how attentive the staff was, the specious apartments, and the very affordable pricing in a very convenient location. Great place to set up for an extended stay with multiple people as we had a two bedroom with two baths.

This hotel/residence was clean and the 2 bedroom apartment was ideal for my husband, 2 teenagers and I. The front desk staff were excellent. My kids loved this place. The underground parking was safe and easy. Cool view from the bedrooms. In suite laundry a bonus. We didn't have breakfast there as we found it pricey. The apartment could have... More

We spent 4 nights here and I must say it was well worth the money. It was spacious and had everything a family may want on a break. The rooms could have been a tad cleaner but this is just a small issue, as overall, it was a great place to stay. The greatest strength of this place is it's... More

After spending two weeks on a Viking cruise, spreading out in our lovely one bedroom apartment was very relaxing and comfortable. The location on the backside of the more luxurious Boscolo Hotel, formerly the New York Palace, was actually more restful than most inner city hotels because it was further removed from traffic and street noise. I found the staff... More

My 2nd stay here and this time with my children. Clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Better value than a hotel room. Fantastic to have the grand hotel next door to walk through. (linked door on 3rd floor) Travel adaptor plugs to rent from reception if you forget yours. Free tea and coffee all day downstairs. The gentleman on reception... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
