Hands down the best hotel we have stayed at. The service staff is ready to help at any moment and are very friendly. The hotel and the room were spotless with plenty of attention to detail. Not to mention the beautifully designed rooms! Would not stay anywhere else in Budapest and would highly recommend my experience to friends and family. Thank you for a great experience!

So glad we chose this hotel - its amazing. The converted telecom building, opened just over a year ago is full of character and the fit-out compliments the building beautifully. We had a superior room which as described was about 36 sqM with a glorious bathroom and separate dressing room.
The spa area in the basement is laid out with a 17m pool wide enough for 2, relaxation beds to the side and a Jacuzzi pool and sauna at the other end. We did not use the gym but it was a good size for 'more than 2 at a time'
The showpiece of the hotel inertia has to be the double height staircase leading up to the restaurant and cocktail bar. Plenty of public space provides a beautiful library, billiard table, quiet side area and the main lobby - all designed beautifully
Breakfast is in the 'day' restaurant and bar area separate from the evening restaurant with a la carte menu for the main course and a high quality buffet bar for cold items
The hotel is not directly in the city centre but quietly located with a 30 min walk to the main cathedral. The Kozmo and its staff provide a unquie boutique hotel which we a enjoyed so much

I stayed on the 16th March to the 19th March 2022 and I have given Kozmo Suites & Spa a maximum rating of 5/5 for good reason, let me explain.
I was first greeted into the luxurious building by the kind staff where I then walked up to the marble desk to check in, Dóra was extremely informative and accommodating even giving me a free private tour of the buildings amazing history.
The building used to be home to the largest telecommunications centre in Eastern and Central Europe at the start of the 20th century.
Art is also on display by Carlos Cánovas in and around the insanely beautiful interior.
After, I checked into my Junior Suite with the Terrace (HIGHLY RECOMMEND the suites and for ultimate comfort the Presidential Suite with Terrace.) I was amazed by the abnormal amount of size in the room which was brilliant as well as having our own food and drinks cabinet full of tasty snacks.
My business associate and I explored the many marvelling features of the hotel, from the relaxing ambient study rooms to the incredible oyster bar which I’ll get to.
We then went to the spa which was another league of luxury, providing a gigantic jacuzzi, long and thin pool with a large sauna 2 metres away.
Now for dinner, the incredible decorative art and unique lighting was truly spectacular as they boasted the one and only Oyster Bar in the whole of Budapest too! Included in the stay, oysters and welcome drinks were very much welcomed and a lovely addition. I give my compliments to the chef who made a spectacular looking pasta for my business associate and the most deluxe brioche burger in the country!
Throughout the stay, a point of notation was the staffs friendliness, they fulfilled any needs that we had immediately.
I think having access to the gym 24/7 and the spa was such a great feature as we could explore Budapest (great location for the big attractions) and then wine down at the end of the day. Next day has gone, a great sleep from the spacious and soft beds, now on to our massive added breakfast with a buffet style bonus, which I must say, definitely started the day positively.
There are so many features I can go over but I wouldn’t want to spoil it for anyone who is staying or thinking of, but if you are looking to stay in Budapest and you’ve come to this review, take it from me, you won’t regret it! I am the Social Media Manager of many Instagram pages reaching 600,000,000 yearly and have a decent understanding of a special hotel when I experience one!
A very special thank you to Betty, Dóra & Máté for all of the arrangements and I am looking forward to staying in the future again!
Kind regards,
SMM | Caleb Terzian

For me, this hotel really excels in two areas. 1. The staff- everyone I encountered was very friendly, kind and efficient. Given that Hungary had just re-elected a quite right wing government I was a tiny bit worried about going from the UK but Budapest has to be one of the most friendly and polite cities I have ever been to and the hotel staff were the perfect example of that. It is the people that make a hotel truly great and the staff here are really fantastic. 2. My girlfriend and I were fortunate enough to be kindly allocated a Junior Suite with Terrace room. The room was absolutely stunning. I have stayed in 5 star properties all over the world and this was definitely up there. The room was massive and had a large outside area which was lovely to spend time in , in the sun. The housekeeping team did a great job as it must be difficult to keep such a large room tidy and it was absolutely spotless. The turndown service was very good also. The quality of design was immense. The room appears very minimalist when you go in but as you spend more time there you realise just how much thought has gone in to it. Everything in the room has been designed to be harmonious with every other object but in such a subtle and clever way that once you notice you can’t help but be amazed. My girlfriend visited the spa and said it was fantastic especially the jacuzzi. I really enjoyed spending time in the central courtyard which was exceptionally relaxing and peaceful. The location isn’t especially central but Bolt is so cheap and quick it is no bother at all. Overall definitely recommended!

Probably the best hotel I’ve been to in my life. My boyfriend and I were pretty reluctant to leave. The bed was comfortable and very large with fresh sheets and good quality bedding- I wish my bed at home was this comfortable!
The bath was spacious. We had a nice view of the courtyard from both the bathroom and bedroom and sheer curtains gave some privacy without compromising on natural light.
The breakfast was much better than I anticipated with a range of menu items including eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, eggs royale and porridge along with an assortment of pastries, drinks, meats etc.
We wanted to thank Dora and Adam in particular (I apologise if we have spelled these names wrong) for their excellent service and friendly demeanour.

From the time that we checked-in until the time we left, we were impressed with everything about the Kozmo. On arrival, Boti helped us with our luggage and showed us to the reception, where the exceptional Lili was waiting to offer a friendly and professional check-in. After welcome drinks we were helped to our suite on the 5th floor, which was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The concierge staff, Zoltan and Kristian, were extremely helpful and offered great tips on where to visit and also arranged some of our bookings for us. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to either the metro or tram service, which is cheap and easy to use, and we found being out of the busy centre ideal for us. At night, the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms very quiet and undisturbed, meaning that we were refreshed each day by the really good breakfast service. Every member of staff that we met were friendly, welcoming and very efficient in their jobs - it's a great place to stay in Budapest and we throughly recommend it!

We stayed last month to enjoy a city that we didn’t visit and the truth that everything surprised us.
The location is perfect, the attention of each of the employees who attended us was super attentive and predisposed to help us at all times.
After an exhausting day of sightseeing in Budapest we decided to try the Spa and it was ideal to relax and escape with those facilities so comfortable and so cozy at the design level.
I think it is a hotel that can host quality events. It has everything to be able to offer events to persuade organizers as well as assistants.
We will surely come back for the treatment received. Thanks for all the staff for making our visit an unforgettable experience.

We just stayed here for my partners birthday as a surprise and I couldn't feel more let down by the experience. I picked the hotel because of the reviews and the comments on the staff being amazing, so I thought it would have a luxury feel for a birthday surprise.
I booked the hotel pick up and paid €65, I asked them to write on the sign - Happy Birthday to which they said no problem! and when I arrived all excited they hadn't written it on it and couldn't find my booking that I had even booked it, how embarrassing for me. When we arrived, I then found check in quite cold and robotic, and we didn't get a welcome drink like reviews say, even though I made it clear it was a birthday present.
The room is lovely but the service is shocking. The room would be half cleaned daily as in they would make the beds and leave towels / clothes on the floor, they never restocked the mini bar and left old and dirty tea / coffee cups lying around and when I called they said can I just wash them and didn't replace them. I think replacing tea / coffee daily is just standard for a 5 star hotel and of course cleaning the rooms properly.
We went to the bar all excited to grab a couple of cocktails and there wasn't one person in there and no music, it was honestly depressing. There is just no atmosphere throughout the whole hotel it all seems so cold and sad.
On Tuesday morning we went to go to the spa and it was closed until midday. If you stay at a hotel and spend £1,100 for 4 nights - you want to be able to use the spa in the morning after the gym? I am guessing they aren't busy enough so open later but then that's not the guests problem who's paid a lot of money.
The breakfast was lovely, but again on Tuesday it was limited. At a guess because there are less guests after the weekend guests have left.
Overall I feel slightly robbed of paying that amount of money and we have actually come back feeling quite depressed from the experience.

Located in an impressive historic building, you will find wonderfully comfortable, functional and refined rooms that lack nothing.
The staff is extremely eager to make one's stay as carefree as possible and managed to extend my stay, even with being almost fully booked. A desire that was awakened in me not least because of the excellent accommodation and the enormous comfort level.

Beautiful hotel. We received a warm welcome by Joy on reception who generously upgraded our room and gave us complimentary access. The room and bathroom was so gorgeous. The only thing that could have been improved was the housekeeping, I felt they could have made more effort in the room each day, plus they didn't replenish the toilet paper and then didn't bring it when we asked for it to come. A small thing but important when staying in a hotel.
