Is this a luxury hotel? Nope Is this a 4 star hotel? Nope Is this a relaxing, comfortable hotel? Nope If you want any of the above DO NOT stay here.. But if you are just looking for a decent base.. that's spotlessly clean, with lovely helpful staff, close to public transport.. or in walking distance of the city... then...

Friendly staff, semi good location but horrible breakfast. Rating is definitely not 4 ⭐️. When things go missing from your room, hotel policy is : sorry we can't do anything. It was an accident, no refund no nothing ! Well thank you management !!!

A good hotel, clean and friendly but the beds were very hard. A downfall is that its about 1.5 miles from the river, but the city tour buses have nearby stops and once they close the local buses go right past it or of course you can walk or use the metro. Being out of the centre the area is a little...

An excellent hotel near to the main Keleti Station. This was our 9th trip to Budapest and we stayed a little further out this time. The hotel is still in a fantastic location and the main shopping areas and Danube are only a few stops on the metro. It took us 45 minutes to walk from St Stephen's Bassillica but...

Great room overlooking the river towards the parliament building/bridge. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Nearby restaurants recommended by the staff & were excellent. Easy walking distance (uphill) to Pest or across the bridge to Buda which has great views & a good range of coffee shops & restaurants. Make the most of the quirky afternoon tea in the...

We visited this hotel 2 years ago and our recent visit lived up to the high standard we experienced 2 years ago. The staff speak good English and are friendly/helpful. The buffet style breakfasts are very good and provide a good start to the day. Although the hotel is close to the main railway station, which was swamped a few...

This hotel has a balanced quality price ratio. Friendly and helpful staff, good and clean rooms and complete breakfast. Close to metro, train station and busses. For dinner we recommend Etna II, good Italion food nearby. Shuttle service to airport (€25 with BMW).

This is a very good hotel. It has a bright, modern feel and is very clean. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was fine with a good selection of hot and cold foods. I recommend the hotel's airport transfer service - door to door by luxury car at such a reasonable price that I wouldn't...

The room itself was nice, not the largest for a week, but came with a mini fridge and a selection of glasses. It also has a really nice bathroom, with an awesome shower. However the shower was next to a glass wall to the rest of the room, so if you were standing next to the glass in the room...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
