This hotel, was very easy to find and has very close links to the metro and bus stations which is all you really need to use to get around Budapest. The metro comes every 5 minutes or so as well. The staff were all very helpful for me and my friend, helping us find information out about night busses, tram...

We booked a 3 day stay at this hotel several months in advance of our recent visit to Budapest. On arrival about 22.30 hrs on a Sunday evening we were told by the Receptionist that our rooms were not available due to a burst water pipe. He had arranged for us to stay in another local hotel of the same...

The hotel was very clean, lovely rooms and bathrooms with towels changed daily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good. This hotel is close to the Metro and also only a 5 min walk to the 'hop on' bus stop.

Used this hotel for a four night city break. Really helpful staff, clean modern rooms and toasty warm on a cold night! The air conditioning was tricky to work, and breakfast was often busy and a limited variety of choices. The hotel is two minutes from the fabulous red and green metro routes, which were brilliantly efficient and cheap. The...

A little way out from the city but close to most of the transport links including the hop on hop off buses which are only a couple of minutes walk away. Rooms are clean and tidy and check in friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful and never had to wait for a table. Good choice of bars...

Small hotel on the edge of the city so quite a walk to get into the main centre. Very modern in style which made me feel i was in an IKEA showroom. White shiny plastic chairs and LED lights made it bright but rather sterile. Interestingly,, we had 3 pillows betweeen two and the fan in the bathroom automatically came...

This hotel is small but well appointed - a budget hotel but nice and modern. The rooms have everything you need with a clean and modern shower room. The dining room is small so you might have to queue in the morning but the breakfast spread is very generous and worth waiting for. The reception staff speak good english and...

Hotel is clean and functional .... you have to pay to borrow a kettle .... hotel rooms were quiet and the beds, though narrow, where comfy Breakfast was gd but it was manic trying to get a table on Sunday morning. Hotel is a distance away from most things - except the New York Cafe. If using the Metro you...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
