You can access you account very easily at any ATM in Budapest depending on the fees yoyr bank charges you to use ATM's when you are travelling it maybe benifical to just use a bank machine in Budapest as generally you get a better rate. If you bank charges you a high fee to use an ATM out of country you will be better off getting them before you go. 1 pound equals about 350HUF and you can get a pint or a nice glass of wine for about 600-800HUF depending on where you are in the city.
