A renovated Hungarian Spa and baths retaining many of the original features. A gem hidden away near the Jewish Synagogue. Comfortable and very clean room and reasonable bathroom. Excellent to stay here as a tourist or for business. Close to Danube and St Stephens Basilica. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was impressive, quite grand and the rooms generally good, lovely bathroom with bath and shower over. we were provided with bathrobes and slippers and there were two small swimming pools on the roof, one indoor and one outdoor. The rooms had a kettle and tea and coffee...

We spent three nights at the Zara. The room was functional with lots of lights, something thankful as most hotel rooms tend to be dark. The bed was ok, with a pillow menu whose choice was promptly brought to the room. But, the bed sheets were brownish with stains of something like make-up. Not correct for such a hotel. I...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
