This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and offered excellent value for money. Rooms, shared areas and bar of a really high standard and an enjoyable breakfast in a lovely dining area. We loved the location, so handy for lots of really good original bars and affordable restaurants. And a nice pool on the rooftop...

The hotel was really close to the Sinagogue, it has a valet parking, and it's extremely clean. Rooms are a little bit small but they have everything and they are confortable. On the last floor there's a SPA and a swimming pool on the roof with a breathtaking view.

I booked 2 rooms through secret escapes for my parents and us. We were right next door to each other which was very handy. The rooms were modern stylish and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. We were able to walk to the main Christmas market from there and really liked the central location....

Dear lizmc81, I’m very happy that you found the lobby of the hotel impressive. You have good eyes, the hall and the facade are really nice, they are back to the beginning of the nineteenth century in style of art nouveau. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights after first arriving in Budapest from the US. Very tired and jet lagged, just wanted to take a hot bath and go to bed. First off, reservation said there would be a bathtub in the room. There was not. I went to use the spa/ fitness center in lieu of bath. Jacuzzi...

We stayed for 3 nights for a city break just before Christmas. Perfect base to explore the city centre - we walked everywhere! Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
