We cant believe we are sitting down to review a hotel we stayed in, its just not something we usually do. The staff and owners of this hotel however do deserve credit for offering so much value for the room price. The breakfast was really something to look forward to, fresh fruit, meats cheeses, breads, fruit juices, hot dishes, all...

New, modern, clean, posh, business hotel in central Budapest. Large rooms with fantastic bathrooms and underfloor heating. Polite and helpful staff, speaking good english. Excellent breakfast with a huge variety of cold and hot food. Close to two underground stations and a nearby 24h open supermarket. Location felt very safe even around midnight but not as upscale as the area...

Stayed at the Eurostars Budapest Center Hotel in Feb 2011. We usually stay at bed and breakfast but I decided to go with a more modern setting this time because of my partner's preferences. We were not disappointed at all. The Service was top rate. The front end was friendly and helpful. They were able to answer questions on the...

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel with my family. I can really recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Budapest. The location is excellent, it is situated between 2 metro stations. As we had never been to Hungary before we had a lot of questions that is why we had to disturb the receptionists several times. I can congratulate...

We were unbelievably lucky to get the most fantastic rate and the location was very convenient, so we've decided to check the place out. Loved it! The hotel is modern, clean, stylish and surprisingly quite. I am not going to judge the room as it was a suite (which we booked for the price you won't believe), but I'm pretty...

First impressions of this hotel are great. The location is very convenient for the underground system and in walking distance of the central attractions on the Pest side of the river and close enough to walk across to Buda. The lobby is modern, clean and spacious and the lady on the desk when I arrived was helpful. (And spoke good...

Found this hotel through Hotels.com. Paid 1500 SEK (~€160) for 3 nights in a standard room including breakfast = a true bargain! The hotel is built in 2009 and is very well designed. Everything still looks brand new and the rooms are spacious and clean. There is anything you could expect from a four star hotel, such as free WiFi,...

The breakfast was very nice - everything you are expecting to find in a 4 star hotel. It was impossible to regulate the temperature in the room - even if you set the air conditioning at 20 deg - there was a constant temperature of 24!. It was not possible to switch off the heating. Double bed turned out to...

This clean modern hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from two of Budapest’s three underground lines (very handy for those arriving from the airport by the local bus underground combo). It is also a short stroll from the city centre, the Danube River, all the main tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has an overall brand...

Very good location, 2 min walk from the red and blue line metro stations and 5 min to vaci utca and the Danube. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern and minimal decoration (lacked a bit of character in my opinion) and a large bed. The bathroom was very nice and modern. Our room had a bathtub that...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
