We spent the night in this hotel and I can say it was a very good choice. The room was clean and quiet, comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, AC was working and was very useful given the heat outside.
For breakfast there was a variety of options both hot (baked bacon, eggs, sausages, etc) and cold (fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, musli, etc.) which gave us the perfect start for the day.
There is also free parking available on-premise which is a huge plus for those traveling by car.

Stayed here the first time in June '24 - I will be back! Fantastic hotel. I was so well looked after by the friendly and helpful staff who all spoke perfect English.
My room was immaculate and comfortable, including the bathroom. Breakfast was great with cooked or cold food available.
I was a little concerned about the location but I needn't have worried it was easy to get to, just a short walk through the impressive KOKA shopping mall from the Metro station. Obviously, it is not in the city centre, but it is just a few minutes away on the Metro.
Just DON'T go to the (independent) restaurant next door, it is truly horrific!

Very polite and helpful staff.
Excellent location easy to get from the airport bus 200E.
Also, to the city center you need about 20 minutes by public transport. Good wi fi connection, clean and comfortable rooms.
All recommendations 🤗

Affordable small hotel halfway between the city centre and airport. Free parking. Spacious room, comfortable bed. No luxury but just what you need for a good sleep. Good value for money. Good option if you want to stay closer to the airport. Big plus is also a big shopping centre just across the street with many shopping and dining options.

Perfect accommodation for an early flight with the kids, of course if you have a hired car. Clean and good value for money. Very nice receptionist. Would highly recommend but only for airport, nothing else and for one night only also. Free parking and wi-fi also included.

Small simple room, clean bath. IT was almost empty. Parking on the property. No breakfast and no food was possible but this was mainly due pandemic. Slept here one night, the bed was okay, i only met the staff once.

Cant complain one bit! Decent hotel right by metro. Free wifi & free safe, bonus. Good breakfast and comfy beds. Enjoyed my 3 night stay very much. City centre 20 mins away by metro. Male receptionist seems moody but he was ok I guess and didn't do us any harm but didn't go out of his way either. Got to admit, fed up writing now, hope I've reached 200 characters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at this hotel during a week's holiday in Budapest, and was generally very impressed. First of all the location- it's situated conveniently near the terminus of the 200E bus from Ferihegy airport, so you can check-in quickly on arrival and dump your luggage. Kobanya-Kispest metro station is also located nearby, so it's easy to get into town. There is also a large shopping mall with a large Tesco supermarket, and numerous other stores in the same complex, for easy shopping.

The hotel staff were first rate. Initially, I was given a small room on the 2nd floor, but this was affected by a lot of traffic noise through the night. But they quickly found me a quieter room on the 5th floor, and even moved my luggage for me. The room was a good size and clean, with a decent-sized bathroom, fridge, safe, TV, aircon, and free wi-fi. The wi-fi signal was stable without dropouts.

The breakfast selection was good, offering a fair choice of food, tea, coffee and juice.

So, overall a very pleasant stay. The only snag was noise, firstly from the traffic, being located near a busy road. It was difficult to escape from this completely, even on the top floor. The cleaning staff were also a little noisy first thing in the morning. But this was balanced out by very friendly and attentive staff.

Dear Tzimi, Thank you for your kind review. I am pleased to hear that you had such a great time in our hotel and you were satisfied with the location, cleaning, reception staff and with the hotel room. I am sorry to hear that you couldn't sleep well. We have rooms overlooking the courtyard. Those rooms are more quiet than the ones at the front side. On your next stay please ask for a room at the back side and we will do our best to allocate you in a nice and quiet room. Looking forward to seeing You again in our hotel! Kind Regards, Ms Andrea Pálfi Front Office Manager

We had a twin room on the 5th floor and stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean, tidy and heated and the beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom was very clean and we only had to share with one other room which was excellent. The only downside was the basin tap in the bathroom had hardly any water coming out of it which was very annoying. The walls were a bit thin, so you could sometimes hear the other guests, but luckily you can't hear any noise from the traffic. The hotel is extremely easy to find and right across a massive shopping centre with links to the airport and the city. Staff were lovely and I really enjoyed my stay! Absolutely great value and perfect for the budget-concious traveller! Highly recommended!

Hotel Chesscom is ideal for travellers with a lower budget in mind. This hotel does not in any way spoil you with unnecessary luxuries. It is, however, clean and in great shape.

POSITIVE ASPECTS
The hotel has great connections with public transport. The rooms are fresh and clean, they have free WIFI internet, and the breakfast is included in the room price.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS
Great connections aside, the hotel is located towards the outskirts, and it takes around 15 minutes to get downtown with the metro. The breakfast offers very little variety.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The transport hub "Köbánya Kispest" is located only 100m away, with the metro line 3 going straight towards downtown. A number of buses stop here, including the highly frequent airport bus. The hub also has a train station, serving both local and intercity trains.

CONCLUSION
Distance to the airport is short, having the airport bus stop nearby. Distance to downtown is greater, but the metro takes you there in 15 minutes. The hotel does not offer luxury, but is clean and well maintained.

Dear Noraisha S, Thank you for your interest of our hotel. I would like to kindly inform you that we don't provide moslem food in the hotel, however you could find easily halal food near the hotel. The average temperature is 0° degrees in February. May you have any further questions or quiries, I am at your disposal! Yours sincerely, Ms Andrea Pálfi, Guest Relations Manager

I don't know about the shuttle of the hotel, if they offer any. However, there is public transportation going there. Its pretty easy to find on google maps, and easy to find in real life too. The station , at witch the bus drops you, is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Also, the price for the ticket is normal, though you might want to buy the 3 day ticket (or even the week one) if you plan on staying a lot.

Hi Rebecca the deal was never mentioned when we arrived there. Hotel is very comfortable though with a decent bar across the road at the shopping centre. Easy for transport to get around the city.
