The room was really dirty and you can't pay with credit card. Furthermore there isn't elevator and if you luggage is big maybe will be complicate climb the stairs. At least, the atmosphere is great to try to meet people that is traveling alone and they wanna meet new friends.

Great location to be next to if you're looking to check out the ruin pubs! You can also hop on the trolly near by and check out what Budapest also has to offer. The staff are really helpful with explaining the best ways to get around. The only negative thing about this place was the godawful stench in my room,...

We were a big group for two nights. I stayed in private double room. For hostel standards that was very nice and cosy room. There is a good breakfast outside, in the evening you can grab some drinks in good price. I would totally recommend it for young travelers. And it was very clean. It's also very close to pubs,...

We stayed for two nights in a private double room which was clean and enough for what we needed. However, the common bathrooms were not clean at all. Besides, the hostel is very noisy at night because young people go there to drink. Ultimately, one of the receptionists was quite rude. Despite all of this the place was cheap and...

Dear Carmen, Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry about these inconveniences. It is true we have a lot of young people who love to have fun, sometimes it gets a bit loud, but that's a youth hostel for ya! :) The bathrooms are cleaned every day by our housekeeping staff, but it is up to our guests to...

The staff was nice and this whole place is really interesting because it feels like every room has a history (apparently my room was named after a guy who lived there for two years). Overall a really nice experience and when I'll visit Budapest again I'll definitely book another room here.

Dear Guest, We are terribly sorry for your experience and for our receptionist's attitude, we will make sure to notify him and take steps to make sure he will not make this mistake again. We are aware of the bed bug problem that occurs sometimes and we have cleaned extensively with a professional service in that room, and we thought...

I have mixed feelings about this hostel. The building itself is rather quirky and is quite secure. The immediate downside is that the building is used for various other reasons, such as dance classes. This didn't bother me too much, as I was mostly out during the day, however loud music can be heard day and night, as well as...
