This hostel is very easily reached by metro, being next to Arany Janos station. Basic breakfast is provided every morning from 8-10am. Our private room was big and comfortable with clean sheets and towels provided. The shared toilets were big and clean.

Location is pretty good and easy to get the hostel. It's not too far by walking from metro. Staff is so nice and friendly. Shared bedroom is big enough. Room rate is also inexpensive. It's suitable for a solo traveller who doesn't mind sharing space with other.

I had a room with 4 beds. So this naturally means that there was 3 other guys as well. This can be actually good thing for solo traveler, since there is people to share experiences and tips with. The actual hostel is not a fancy one, so if you are looking for a luxury, it's not this one. However this...

We booked a double room in this hostel. On the booking website looks really great but it's not worth the money. The room itself is just 7 sqm and for our stay it was combined with a kitchen which seems to be the hostel kitchen usually. All furniture is run-down and when you open the window a bad smell from...

I chose to stay in an apartment - it was clean and spacious. The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner, however. Also the door would not lock! The man from the front desk came to our room and had to lock it for us but this became a bit of a problem when we needed to go out again later....

We stayed here for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. We expected a hostel room but they gave us an apartment with shared bathroom. The kitchen / dinning area was bigger than the room and had microwave, fride, coffee, sugar, kettle. Beds were comfortable. Shared bathroom was clean and big. This place is great...

Me and my Boyfriend have just come back from Budapest where we stayed in one of the Boomerang apartments. The apartment was within the heart of the city with great restaurants around and very close to the famous ruin bars! The staff were friendly and helpful and the apartments are seriously awesome with a well equipt kitchen, comfy bed and...

The rooms are spacious and clean but nothing special. It has some discreet decoration with some posters. The breakfast was poor and served in a really small kitchen with only two tables considering the amount of people. The internet was really slow and only working in the entrance of the room. After all is ok for what you pay for,...

The hostel was nice and comfortable, great value for money and excellent location. Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good too. Now to the disappointment: In the website it said that we can pay by credit card. In the end of the booking we had the option to choose how to pay and choose credit card. We...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
