Arrived very late at night and met by extremely helpful receptionist. The rooms are compact but clean and tidy. Fantastic central location enabling acceas to all of the wonderful sights in Budapest. Buffet style break with very helpful, friendly staff on hand. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Location is good. Breakfast - excellent, with lots of variety. Rooms are small, but ok for single/couple. Cleaning wasnt so good. Towels, bed linen were changed only after request (4th day). Everywhere were water while taking bath, something wrong with isolation. No toiletry, only shampoo and soap ( and they also werent renewed after usage). Reception was very helpful. Exchange...

We had the vampire suite which was very good. The room was big and decorated in gold, cream and black, so it was quite startling but for those who don't mind bling it was excellent, clean, quiet with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was also very good and the service excellent. Reception was very helpful and friendly. They recommended the...

Good boutique hotel rightly located. The synagogue is quite close, and if you walk about 15-20' you'll get to the chain bridge, and the parliament surroundings. If you are a nightlover you easily reach to some ruins bar as tsympla, etc. The hotel itself is good enough. Normal breakfast but the restaurant staff is not helpful at all, although the...

The hotel is small and needs a freshen up. Bar small with a poor selection of drinks. Breakfast area small and a bit chaotic. Rooms small. Bathroom walls are glass. Towels need replacing . However it's in a great location. Near plenty of bars and restaurants and close to the hop on and off bus and a 15 min walk...

We arrived around 10pm on a busy Saturday night, Adam the night receptionist was very welcoming and made the checking in process very easy, his English being very good. We went to the 6th floor, we noticed how hot the hotel was, on going into the room, on first impressions it was very small, so small that I sat on...

Prior to staying here, I emailed about getting a taxi booked from the airport to the hotel, which they obliged. However we arrived, the receptionist stopped checking us in to help another couple who had just come downstairs, which I thought was odd since there was 2 of them on the desk. Shrugged it off as once they finally came...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
