The location is great, facilities are good and decent breakfast. They dont give shampoo so bring your own, and there is no bath curtain so you cant bath while standing. the service however is indifferent, we saw 3 people at the reception desk. one (light/brown hair) was very kind and helpful, If it was the hotel owner I'd give him...

Despite arriving at the airport more than an hour late, due to thunderstorms, Lazlo from A2Btransfers was waiting for us. 30 minutes later & we reached the city. The hotel frontage is a modest doorway next to the Tiger shop in Vaci Utca. Check-in was straight forward enough. We stayed for four nights on the third floor. Our twin room...

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is excellently located on Vaci Utca street, making it easy to walk to most attractions. There are also three metro stations located within walking distance, one of which connects to all the other lines. The hotel is also surrounded by shops and restaurants which was very convenient for us. We...

In the heart of the city, I had a single room which is spacious and comfortable. Meets all the modern standards and is clean and quiet (sound proof window panes). Well-equipped bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Budapest.

This hotel was booked through a travel agent, so we didn't realise how great a location it was going to be until we arrived. The rooms are smallish, but fine with a fridge / minibar and a safe, so you know your valuables are secure. The only real issue is the lack of a shower curtain, which a lot of...

The hotel is well located, clean, close to shopping areas, well communicated so best value for money. Breakfast could me better, theres no toaster, soya milk or gofres just the usual stuff. Theres no soap or conditioner and you need to pillows. I had a room giving to a corridor, so no light at all.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
