Old hotel that obviously used to be 5* but definitely needs renovation. Great location, amazing room view (each room faces the sea), good service, nice food. The rooms, restaurant, bar everything is very old, clean but run down and outdated. However, I enjoyed my stay, would come back to Portoroz, but probably to another hotel which provides more for the...

I was there attending NT conference 2017. The hotel was amazing and the food was amazing. So it is definitely one of the best hotels to go if some conference is there. I hope next year I will go again.

Rooms are old and oldfashioned furnished but clean. View from rooms is great. Staff is friendly and food is fine. For a 5* hotel in such a beautiful location I think a renovation should be taken in consideration.

I came with friends and it was fine for an all inclusive. The rooms are quite outdated though. The shower kept leaking onto the bathroom floor and it was like a flood. Maintenance worked on it and it was better but it still leaked. The food was pretty good. The views are amazing as every room faces the water with...

I have visited this beautiful hotel in April for short vacation during Easter holiday. Whole impression is that this is great chose for break of each day life. Every single room has sea view so first things that you see in the morning are see, seagulls and beach. Whole area exudes the freshness of pines. Rooms are simple but very...

There were plenty of things that we enjoyed about this hotel. The meals were varied and generous. Each room had a great view of the sea. There was plenty of space for our conference. On our breaks, we enjoyed exploring the area. The staff was friendly, the rooms were fine, but nothing special.

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Bernardin for one night as part of a business trip to Slovenia. The hotel is on a cliff and it develops downward, meaning that the reception is on the 11th floor, the restaurants on the 10th and the rooms from the 8th and below. Level 0 is at the level of the sea. The...

It's a nice 5 stars hotel by the beach with good view / balcony. However, it's an old hotel and the design / setting in the room is a bit outdated. The bed is too soft (or probably it's an old mattress). It's equipped with air conditional but it doesn't work so well because the 15deg set on the aircon...

Old 5* hotel which was probably excellent 20 years ago. Generally, the building is huge, a lot of space everyhere, unusuall reception on 11th floor, everything nice, clean, but dated... Several restaurants and conference rooms, everything was clean, nice, food excellent, a lot of choice, everything delicious....But...my room was dark because of dark decoration and furniture colours and smelled like...

Stayed here for a conference. The staff was very helpful and kind. Great conference rooms. They have two large conference rooms one of which can be split into 4 rooms. Very good food and selections. The rooms are small but nice. All rooms have a balcony facing the water. Recommend this location for conferences.
