At the end of April, we went to Ljubljana for a whole week with our study-association. We were with 23 people in total and had a lovely time in Hostel Tresor! The staff was really kind, they would always help up if we had any questions and all the facilities (badrooms, toilets, general space) were very good. We had breakfast every morning, which was very nice and tasted good. It was an amazing experience.

This hostel is located in the perfect spot, close to the historic center, the castle and the train station. That’s about it. The air-condition doesn’t seem to work properly which made the air in the room extremely uncomfortable. When I arrived the sheets were full of small wooden pieces and dirt. What really bothered me was that the staff on two occasions (late in the evening and around 7:30 in the morning) unlocked my private room and stomped in the room to “check” something without a knock or some form of signal before coming in.

The hostel staff is the best thing about the hsotel. They are very helpful and accommodating. Then the second best thing is the location of the hostel as it is close to everything. Also, the place is quite clean and as we used it for an youth project, it was very suitable for our training.

The best thing about this hostel was the location, perfect for walking around the city and close to the main bus station, for arrivals and that must do trip to Lake Bled! The bathroon was clean and the showers were hot. One guy at reception was excellent with a smily face and eager to help (sorry, dont know your name but had a blue woolly hat!) The other two lads could probably look at him as a good example! We had a twin room, located at the top of the building, within what the hostel called the Penthouse!! It was a shared bathroom and had a shared lounge with a small kitchen and microwave (possibly wouldn't wanted to have used the microwave without a thorough clean) All in all good enough for the price, a quirky accommodation housed in an old bank, maybe decorate our room with some of those features to brighten up.

Hostel Tresor was a very nice place to stay. The room was spacious and the beds were all accessible to the ground (there were no bunk beds). Facilities were clean and the customer service was great. Full bar and cafe in the lobby. As well, many services were on offer from haircut to tourism. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend. Also, was very quiet atmosphere. * note: I traveled off season, January 2020*

This hostel was great for our group. The staff was able to accommodate our every need and even our last minute request. The location, price, and amenities were perfect us. The 24 hour reception is super convenient and you can really tell that that the staff wants to make your time there and in Ljubljana unforgettable. We will definitely be staying here again in future! Thanks for a great time in Slovenia!

We have had an interesting, pleasant stay in the hostel. The whole place was interesting, it has very positive vibes, you can feel the energy of the people (other travelers) and staff. We were impressed by very communicative and kind receptionists Gal and Klemen. They are very kind and helpful, opened for any conversation. Thank you.😊 We were impressed by quotes on the walls in every room, walls in the toillets and in every hallway. Booked a room for 2. The room was simple, offered everything we needed for 2-3 days&nights, clean showers and toillets every day, all day and nigh long (the cleaning lady was there every day, also very kind). We noticed that the hostel offers breakfast and luggage room (which is perfect specially for the last day of the stay). Hostel also organises different events (morning, day, night). Location of the hostel is perfect, bus stop is just a few steps away, the center of Ljubljana is also just a short walk away from the hostel. Near is also the Tivoli park and everything you want to explore (shops, restaurants, clubs, bars...). We were a little bit dissapointed only with showers (the space beetwen the tub and doors is a little bit to small to undress/dress yourself) but that is not such a big problem at all. Just a notice. So, thank you Hostel Tresor for amazing weekend stay, greatings from Jelena and Tina

Great hostel for a great value, at a great location. Booked a double private room. The room was spotless clean, shared toilets also. Very quiet, and great staff throughout the hostel. 24/7 open bar also very convenient. Would highly recommend for a short or longer stay, and would surely see each other again. Ljubljana has so much to offer throughout the whole year.

The location is incredibly central and everywhere is within a 10-15minute walk. The staff were kind, and the hostel is well-kept. We stayed on two separate occasions within a week. Our first stay we had a great room, with external window, working heating/cooling, on the 3rd floor. We were excited to return later in the week. However on our second stay our room was an internal one on the 2nd floor with a window just over the courtyard and the heating was stuck on 28C. After an hour of waiting for it to cool down after trying to set the temperature lower, I asked reception about it. They manually reset it and told us to wait another hour. Unfortunately in an hour's time the room was still 28C, and with no external window it was quite the oven. Fortunately, being in the low season they had an alternative room to offer us, with working cooling and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The staff were great about it though and did their best to resolve the situation, so I would still stay here again.
