Location is 2 km away from the city so you need a car. Place does not have own parking, you need to park in the street around the guesthouse. At 10 pm I had parked 400-500 m from the guesthouse because all parking places near gueasthouse were full. Croos the street is hospital so it is busy during the day. Room was old and not perfectly clean. Furniture also very old. Breakfast ok for the price...

Ljubljana is always nice and clean, so is this Guest House. The welcome was warm, the draft beer excellent, like the dinner and breakfast we had. The room is equally traditional in style of the entire building. Clean and everything there

I stayed here for 2 nights only this week. I arrived early during lunch ( the popular local restaurant is below the guesthouse) but was immediately shown my room (#101). It is a very large room ( 2 king singles together) and the bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Sometimes, if the window is open, you can hear traffic but its reasonably quiet. The locals eat and leave by about 10... Bathroom was great and a good shower. The food is AMAZING!! Im a foodie and I ate here 3 times in 2 days it was that good. ( the supplied breakfast is simple - 2 sorts of cereal, yoghurt, cheese , tomatoes, and meats and bread.. Choice of cappuccinos, tea etc) I had a black risotto special with mushrooms and scallops in the shell sprinkled with parmesan. A few red wines. Cost Euro $17 Highly recommend the mushroom soup, beef ( i had rare) with truffle sauce and arugula and pine nuts, followed by strudel ..to die for.. And a side salad! Big portions.. Perfectly cooked. Congrats to the chef. The manager Boris is wonderful and friendly and i just asked him to recommend everything.. He was spot on. The other 2 ladies working the tables were also happy and looked after me . While the rooms are average ..they are big and comfortable. But you don't go to such a beautiful place like Ljubljana to sit in your room. I would happily stay here again just for the food and great service!

A guest house with character, comfortable accommodation, friendly, helpful owner and staff, and good food, this was our ideal introduction to the capital of beautiful Slovenia. With on-site parking, it is an easy walk to the city centre and provided us with a relaxing stay. An easy drive from the airport, it is situated on a bus route if you don't wish to drive.

Room Tip: Our room was upstairs and quiet; it's an old building, so just mind your head on the ceiling...
