We arrived much earlier than check in at Allegro, expecting to have to wait a few hours for our room, but it was ready and waiting for us. The hotel is beautiful. A very lovely boutique hotel, with gorgeous decor. The sweets and alcoholic shot on arrival was a different, cool addition. Just in conversation we mentioned that it was...

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would probably stay again, mostly for the central location in the historic center, the attentive and helpful staff, and a great breakfast with hot items (ie eggs). We stayed in the only room with a detached bathroom (across the hall from our room). I would probably not stay in that room again,...

A friend stayed here a couple years ago and along with TA reviews, we chose it as well. Love that you can see each of the different rooms online and make a more informed choice. We had a large bedroom in the back building across the courtyard and up one flight. It was nice and quiet. The entryway had places...

I stayed here as a solo traveller for 4 nights in September 2014. I choose the hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews. I had a good stay here--the hotel is centrally located, and everything is in easy walking distance. The train station is an easy 15-minute walk away along the main streets. Lots of restaurants and cafes along the river just...

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were ok / goodiish. Our room initially smelled strongly of cleaning fluid and it was quite cold, heated only by an air conditioning unit that was turned up to max and couldn't be turned on manually but which periodically and noisily blew warm air in fits and starts through the night. The...

The hotel had an excellent location adjacent to the old town with numerous restaurants and shops nearby. It was very cozy and the staff was incredibly helpful. Excellent choice all around--especially in the pre-Christmas period.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The location was great, the staff friendly, and everything was done efficiently and expertly. One consideration is that the parking area is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We parked at an intersection close to the hotel and called the staff. The clerk came 2 minutes later and took our 3 suitcases and explained...

Staff very friendly and efficient, location is great, very quiet in a street where cars are banned ! brekfast is correct but orange juice is not a real orange juice (avoid it), pastry is ok, the room was not so clean (carpets), the fridge in our room was very noisy so we switch of it. Not so good value for...

This little hotel is in an old building and is perfectly located for sightseeing and wandering the old town. We had a very large room at the back of the hotel right up against the church with the noisy bell! The room had an adequate bathroom, comfortable beds and quite the dirtiest carpet I have seen in a hotel. I...
