The chic modern design of this hotel and the efficient check-in made my layover in Warsaw a breeze. Just a short walk across from the Chopin Airport terminal, so no need for a taxi. They “get it” that many customers are just looking to spend a pleasant evening before catching a flight next morning. I didn’t take advantage of the food offerings, but it’s good to know they have them and will deliver room service for a fee. I paid when I checked in, so in the morning I just grabbed my bags, dropped my key and crossed the street to the airport. I’ve also stayed next door at the Courtyard and this is definitely a step up.
Frankly, I expected a comped room to be mediocre. This hotel is awesome. I was very impressed. I had misgivings about airport transiting security which was super slow and caused many missed connections. It was not LOT's fault but they comped my room, dinner, and breakfast and rebooked me onto the first morning flight. This hotel made up for the terrible experience at WAW. Security is way understaffed; many passengers missed their connections due to the monstrous ineptness at this airport. Avoid this airport if possible. Worst ever!!!
Just spent a night here after a later flight into Warsaw. Reception staff very friendly and polite. Room is lovely, but the best bit is the bar, I went for dinner and had a few drinks, the bar manager is great and his colleague Wiktoria also very charming, they both know how to give you a top class service whilst being discreet, I will certainly stay here again.
I landed quite late at night and since I'd noticed on previous visits that this hotel and the Courtyard Marriott were right across the road from the airport, I decided to stay here for a night especially as they had very reasonable prices. When you came out of arrivals you need to take a lift down to departures. The Courtyard Marriott is right across the road but you have to turn left and walk a little way to the Renaissance which is opposite the departures check-in area. I checked in at the hotel and took my luggage trolley with me to my room. I was pleasantly surprised as it was really nice. I always request an extra sheet in my room in case I get too hot at night with the duvet. Rafal at reception had told me it was in my room but it wasn't which is why I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I stopped to tell him that on the way to the bar and he then put it in my room with the extra pillows I had also requested ahead of time. A 5 star hotel should pay more attention to their clients' requests. This doesn't happen at the Sofitel Victoria which is where I always stay and when I got there the next day everything had been taken care of ahead of time which makes me feel that I'm a valued client. There were some very nice cocktails in the bar. I had a Botanical Fizz for 45 zl and it came with some peanuts. I was quite happy sitting in the bar which was almost deserted so I had another one. I was pleased the bar stayed open late. I went to bed at 1am. The following morning I had a look at the small pool and gym and went to the spa but it was closed. I called the number and they told me I should have booked ahead of time. And once more, a 5 star hotel should let their clients know they have to do that unless they don't want any business in the spa. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and I would stay there again after making sure they acknowledge my requests ahead of time.…
Very nice hotel, beautiful design. Friendly staff. Very pretty and clean rooms. Extremely good breakfast. Prices in the dinner restaurant much too high comparing to the quality of the food served. Other than that - excellent hotel.
