We stayed 4 nights in the Ostoya Palace.. In the new Town and about 10 mins walk to the square it is a comfortable traditional hotel with a hint of faded glory and probably less noisy than hotels nearer the centre . Every room is a bit different and ours looked out on a wooded area where people walked their...

My wife and I stayed here over the New Year and were very pleased with it. Our room was very large and pleasant and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The Staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. There is a very pleasant bar and restaurant in the basement. Breakfast is very good with an unusual range of spreads which...

The hotel is very clean good quality cotton bedding furniture is old but well maintained there was a stocked fridge, tea, coffee & kettle in room. First impressions do not last as you walk into the palatial interior of this hotel. Rooms are beautiful, pristine and so cosy with large windows and ceilings very high above you. Beds superbly comfortable and huge! The only teeny negative is that breakfast buffet let them down but you know, it made me not over indulge at every meal so...

Old and in need of a referb. Further from the centre than you think. Staff were unfriendly. We had no hot water in the rooms and we had to have freezing cold showers. The local taxi driver could not believe how bad it was there and has advised us where to stay next time we are in the city. This...

This is an old fashioned hotel which was probably very grand a few years ago. It is now a bit stuck in the past and needs some refurbishment to bring it back to its former glory. We had a spacious family room with a double and 2 single beds which was on the top floor and had sloping ceilings and...

My wife and I visited a while ago but our room was about 15 metres from the tramlines. Trams start each morning about 04:45 and run about every 15 minutes. Apparently there were no available rooms to move us to. If you can't get a room away from them make sure you have hearing protection. I had a quick shower...
