We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a lovely atmosphere at the hotel dining room. It was a lovely change from the typical hotel breakfasts of the chain hotels. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was very good.

We arrived to spend just a night after some time (two years) and we were pleasantly surprised. This time we had a double room en-suit on the highest floor and it was very cosy, quiet and comfortable. I think they didn't use to provide bathrobes and slippers in past, so this was nice improvement. Breakfast had the same nice items...

I had booked a 5 person table for a family dinner. Food was good. We pay extra 50 PLN per person for a music concert. Klezzmates - Musicians young, playing not typical Klezmer music I was not smashed down, at all. Just after 30 - 40 minutes concert, musicians join the audience and offer very expensive CDs - 50 PLN...

Twelve of us visited this restaurant and were placed on separate tables. We were then offered seating for 12 in another room but were asked to pay extra as live music was being played. We accepted but the music finished after just 10 minutes and only after repeated requests did they agree that there would be no extra charge. Also...

Located in the Jewish quarter in Krakow, a place full of history. The decor is like a typical Jewish home pre-second world war. We had lunch in the main dinning room. We had as appetisers: stuffed onions (recommended), broad beans and caper salad(unusual combination but try it), chicken soup with matzo dumplings. For main cholent ( typical casserole made of...

We had an organized group dinner. We were seated in a private room. We were served chicken soup, roasted turkey and poppyseed cake. Honestly, like my grandma used to make. There was also 3 piece band, with a spectacular violinist which played old Jewish music. We learned Me. Klezmer is an Auschwitz survivor. He survived the camp by playing his...

Yes the Klezmer Hois feels authentic, is a beautiful space, and the people who work there are humane and helpful. But this isn't about the food or the venue, it about whether you want to have a genuine encounter with music that will take you beyond time and place, and open up new chambers of your feeling. That is what...

As others have said - what's Klezmer without a clarinet? But these guys pulled it off. That's ok because talking to other guests most of them never heard klezmer or had Jewish style traditional food. The Gefilte fish was a treat. A little narration from the band might have been nice.

Could not see band but could hear them above the music played in restaurants. They should stop music in restaurant when band is in other room. Food was ok. Setting was lovely, it was like a 1930s sitting room.
