Such a lovely hotel, faultless. The price was unreal (everything in poland is actually!) Such a modern, clean, high end hotel and a great price. Our room was spacious, beds super comfy. Bathroom lovely and the shower was amazing. Lovely to have our own robes and the minibar was great. Breakfast included was a bonus, lots to choose from -...

Third stay at this hotel and never disappoints. Friendly staff and checked in promptly. Emailed us prior to arrival to confirm request for cot bed. Located in a quiet area near to the river. Just few mins walk to shops and restaurants and approx 15 min walk to train station. Rooms fairly good size and very clean. Would stay again...

Tucked away down a cobbled side street away from the waterside you will find this newly renovated industrial building, first impression was rustic with the bare brick walls and steel girders. The rooms were very comfortable with fantastic air con and bathroom facilities. Cleaned every day with complimentary water and coffee etc. The restaurant was very upmarket serving unreal food...

We just had a 3 night stay at the hotel. It's location was fine - easy walk to the old town along the waterfront, with lots of restaurants and bars en route. It's steps away from Degustarnia, one of the best craft ale pubs in the city (it looks like it's part of High 5 Hostel, but it's not). The...

So I checked into the Hotel Grand Cru for 4 nights and this hotel didn't live up to its expectations of what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bed was rock hard and I slept really badly, it's been the same every night. There is a street lamp that shines outside my room and the thin blind...

Stayed for 3 nights here in Feb 2017 on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is located on the edge of the main town and is a renovated warehouse. It is about a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the long market but looks like this hotel will be more central in the future as further redevelopment takes place...

Excellent location for access to the old town. We made good use of the restaurant for our evening meals as well as breakfast. The food was excellent and good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive especially Patricia in the restaurant who made some excellent recommendations for drinks and places to visit as well as running up and...

It wans't a bad experience, but it had a few things that I usually value more. One of them was the breakfast, I felt it was missing some more international "dishes", although it did have I believe some ordering capabilities which I didn't explore. The second thing which bothered me, was that I had room 101, right next to the...

Great hotel in an old but entirely renovated building. Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Spacious and comfortable bathroom. Prefect location - near old town, beautiful motlava river promenade just around the corner. The hotel itself faces a soon-to-be-open museum of the world war 2. I was slightly disappointed with a restaurant - quality of food on an average...

We stayed here for New Year, the hotel was spotless and the room a perfect size for a couple. The exterior of the hotel is traditional, very modern inside. Two minutes walk from to Motlawa River which is beautiful. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, we were very late checking out and it was no problem at all.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The location of Grand Cru Hotel, in the antique Old Town, on Rycerska Street, allows to live to the full the unique atmosphere of Gdansk. Only a few steps divide our hotel from Motlawa river and finest monuments of the city, such as St. Mary's Church, the Crane, Neptune’s Fountain, Artus Court or Uphagen House. An evening walk along the Long Bridge and the alleys over which rise the fascinating pearls of architecture, ended with a dinner and a glass of excellent wine in Grand Cru Restaurant, will be a great accomplishment of each day spent in the Tri-city. ... more   less
