Very clean and well located hotel. Amenities were quite nice, especially having slippers and bathrobes. Room and bathroom of comfortable size and quiet. Staff both pleasant and helpful. Located right on the riverwalk and within an easy walk of the royal way and most other old town sites. Also walkable to Solidarity Museum ( a must see) . A 15 minute Uber ride to Westerplatte which is where WWII started. We stayed here 5 nights and would stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend in September 2021. The hotel is very nicely located, right in the middle of where you want to be when visiting the beautiful city of Gdansk. However, the hotel itself did not quite meet our expectations. Firstly, no upgrade for a Gold member, the letter is given at check in with a 10% discount on spa or F&B and a 50PLN voucher for the same. The room was OK with a classic "to die for" Hilton bed. The bathroom had a separate shower and a bath. Now the disappointing part. The gym is really a joke, I have had better gyms in Holiday inn Express or Garden Inn. Tiny with very limited machines. Not acceptable for Hilton as a brand. We had a drink in the hotel bar downstairs and the service was not good. First, the waiter was passing by several times not noticing us until we actually asked him if we could order. The same happened when we wanted to pay. It would be 4 or 5 stars if It was any lower brand of the family, but no, the hotel was not up to average Hilton, or 5-star hotel standards, as they advertise themselves to be. One last thing and just because it's a big issue now, there are signs all over the place that masks must be worn at all times when in hotels public premises. Staff was fully compliant with that but you would rarely see anyone else wearing one. And no comments were made by the staff (at least we didn't hear any). We didn't have an issue with this, but someone may.

Been travelling to Gdańsk for years and always vist the high five bar I’ve recently tried to book the bar for October. I have been told I have to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £100 and this only secures your seat and nothing against your drinks. It’s a disgrace it’s Gdańsk not Marbella!!! I would recommend tying sassys who don’t try and rip you off!!

Response from Hilton Gdańsk, Other at Hilton Gdansk
Responded 10 Sep 2021
Dear 081277, We're sorry you won't visit our bar but we respect your right to choose. We would like to clarify that the reservation fee for the High 5 bar is 500 PLN and is due to the high interest in our bar. We were looking for a solution that allows our guests to rest and enjoy this place without worries. You can also come to the bar without a reservation, to which we encourage our guests. We wish you many nice experiences during your stay in Gdańsk. Kind regards, Hilton Gdańsk Team

Right where you want to be. On the river, close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Great views on the river side. A 24 hour gym that is very clean and sanitized. The bedding is top notch. Parking is conveniently located under the hotel.
