This place is relatively close to the city centre, next to the main train station (Ostrava hlavní nádraží). Hotel offers about 5 free parking spots for a guests in front of the hotel on the street. Reception is at the bar in the restaurant and you need to go there through the restaurant room for a smokers if you would...

The hotel was quite nice. A bit old fashion standard, but the bed were clean, and we got fresh towles every day. About 400 meters from the train station, så great for people traveling by train. A bug plus is the price. Paid about 1500 cz. for two nights. The staff was helpful, except for one girl who seemd quite...

Hotel is old, room was OK, it was quiet at night. This hotel does not have charm, but it is clean and close to city center and railway station. Breakfast was no big deal for the money. Probably best was the coffee.

The room is nothing extraordinary but alright and clean (the shower was a bit strange, connected to the sink). The breakfast is not well supplied so if you came late, you may end up just with some yogurts left. One more thing worth mentioning is, that there is tram line right below the windows and with the all night trams...

I like this hotel, because it´s directly at the train station (Hlavní nádraží). You jump off the train and in two minutes you are there. The rooms vary, it´s no four stars hotel, but a reasonable hotel for a good price for one or two nights. I stayed there maybe ten or more times. To the City Center you go...

First of all: pluses. It is clean. Despite all look of terribly worn out, there is no dirt around. It is just next to the train station. Friendly staff in the reception. One of the most awkward business accommodation I have ever had. The hotel looks like not-very-expensive-hotel 30 years ago (not kidding). * Bar smells so bad after cigarettes,...

The worst thing about this hotel was the bad smell both in the bathroom and the room itself. Bathroom - not sure if it was the drain or the old musty poor quality shower cabinet but when I opened the bathroom door in the morning it was terrible. Besides the bathroom, all the smells from the kitchen in the restaurant...

Hotel Max, Street Nádražní, Ostrava - nice and cheap accommodation, excellent cuisine with local specialities – the best pork stew and roast goose. Home comfort, near the Main railway station Ostrava - steel heart of the Czech Republic. Visit Ostrava, it is very interesting industrial city

Friendly staff, very bad hotel, no better way of saying it. They just stopped in time. No curtains in the bedrooms, from 5am can not sleep anymore with all the trains passing by. The mattresses have more than 30 years old and there is no elevator. Last time in this hotel.

Arrived here at around 10pm, looking for a last minute place to stay due to some major train problems. The receptionist didn't seem to speak a word of English - fortunately someone who'd told us about the hotel acted as a translator for us! The hotel was really affordable and very nice, free wifi and an alright breakfast though nothing...
