I came with some friends to stay in a dorm of 6 beds in June 2016. The bed was pretty comfort and cozy. The receptionist will give you a free bread (with cheese or ham) if you ask for breakfast. There are also free foods for breakfast in the kitchen room like corn n flake, orange juice, milk, pasta, rice....

Great hostel. Very friendly staff and nice people. The showers were very clean but they get very hot sometimes so you kind of burn yourself in the shower. Clean beds and you get your own locker and a key for this locker which is really chill.

This is an average hostel. There is nothing terrible about it but it isn't great. Some things we were not happy with: - breakfast is a pretty gross sandwich and some cereal (this is free though so better than nothing!) - we were given a room with two singles instead of what we are pretty sure we ordered, a double...

Nice hostel, very clean and good food (breakfast). Location is great, close to many places so you can walk to many main monuments. Staff is very polite. The roon I stayed was very quite and haas a good bathron and always clean.

I am giving this hostel 2/5 stars for a few reasons: First, the front desk staff is quite friendly, but in the midst of any kind of conflict they are essentially pointless. So if all you want is a smile and a joke, they are great. Here's my story to back this up: My friend and I were traveling quite...

Front staff were nice as others have mentioned. The bathrooms were nicely renovated, although they are communal this didn't bother me. Free breakfast is just cereal and a sandwich, but it's free so I can't complain. The wifi however is atrocious and if you want to do anything other than read an email you are out of luck. The noise...

Friendly stuff (24hr reception). They let us lock our bags in a room after check out while we explored town, gave us towels and shower gels, and gave us nightlife recommendations. Breakfast was good too: we had the sandwiches, orange juice, cereal.

I'll start off by saying this hostel is okay in terms of sleeping. The beds are comfy enough and there is dual glazing. However, the manager is rude and condescending. They also quote you a price in Euros but then charge you in Koruna at their appalling exchange rate. Overall our stay cost us 33% more purely based on their...

I stayed here with a group of sixty people as part of a university trip. They made each of us pay an individual deposit which mounted to a lot - surely one per room could have been more efficient? The rooms were okay, but there were no curtains or blinds so the light steamed in in the morning. There was...

You need to leave 5 euro deposit for the key (fine) but they gave us one key for the room and another one for the locker. We were 2 people, so I asked but wouldn't we need 2 locker keys? And the receptionist said that the other locker was broken (offered no alternative). Then when we went to the room,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
