Our preference was to stay in novo mesto or old town, but yet just outside the stare mesto or old town. Really, the restaurants and local bars were better in new town. Old town while very commercial, was very beautiful and had more lively nightlife. Voyta residence is actually surrounded by a number of the new town local hangouts and...

These apartments are completely furnished, incl. equipped kitchen. It is located right in the centre of Prague, very close to the National Theatre and the Vltava river. Now there's a raging flood around here, but this building is safe. There are lots of historical monuments, restaurants, pubs, shops, theatres etc. within walking distance. The owner is very kind an helpful.

Spent a weekend in Prague and stayed at Voyta Residence for our third time. Lucked out and got "upgraded" to the apartment/suite this time (I think it's on the third floor; it's definitely the top floor) facing the street far below. Very reasonably priced (70 euro per night), close enough to everything except cheap parking (I don't think that actually...

We stayed in a Voyta Residence apartment for the third time recently. We were lucky enough to get Apartment A which was perfect for the five of us travelling together, as it has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen-diner-living area, lots of big windows and is spread over the whole first floor of the apartment building. It's easy to contact...

Voyta Residence has four studios and three apartments in a refurbished 1900's Art Deco building located a few streets from the National Theatre and from the Vltava river in the centre of Prague. The location is ideal, in a quiet street with little traffic, but still close to public transport (tram is about 2 minutes walk, metro is about 5...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
