Just completed 4 days at this architecturally significant boutique hotel. The staff is outstanding, the free breakfasts are plentiful, the location is in the middle of Old Town and close to Prague castle (20 minutes walking) but on tram line, 5 minutes to Charles Bridge ((south side), and 20 minutes to Clock Tower. The hotel doesn't have a/c, we were...

Dear sir, Thank you so much for your feedback! We are very sorry that you have experienced such a heat struck - it is not normal for summer in Prague that the temperature get this high. We are aware of missing A/C but our hotel is located in historical building from 1774 which is protected by government and to reserve...

Very nice apartment hotel in the heart of everything! Can only recommend when in Prague. We were a family of 4 staying in the biggest apartment sleeping 6. Beautiful place with beams and atmosphere and a view to the church. Everything seems to have been modernized recently. The personnel was nice. Nothing to complain about :-)

I would recommend this hotel to anybody, the tram is right outside the door, it's a two minute walk to Charles bridge, breakfast served each morning was delicious and set us up for the day. The staff were really nice and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The location is very good; about a 10 minute easy walk to Charles Bridge and a vigorous walk up the hill to the castle. The room was comfortable and breakfast excellent. Very clean and has tram stops right outside.

Very well located hotel, only a few steps from a tram stop and 2 minutes away from Charles bridge. The staff was always friendly and ready to help, I can't remember her name, but we were particularly impressed by the service and friendliness of a Croatian girl working at the reception :) This isn't a huge hotel with many rooms,...

This hotel was great. I almost don't want to review because it's such a hidden gem. It's located in St Nicholas Square a few blocks from the Charles Bridge and not far too walk to Prague Castle. Rooms are adorable. Only thing is bed was upstairs in loft area so you had to go up/down to bathroom. Might be hard...

Arrived on an early flight and was allowed to check in straight away :-) First impressions were good - Petra on reception welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room (number 8). First impressions - WOW so spacious and clean. The welcome note and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. After a sleep we ventured out and about...

We spent 4 nights at the Nicholas. From the beginning we fell in love with it. Just a short stroll in the evening takes one to the Charles Bridge with most of the tourists gone so one can savour the exceptional atmosphere and stunning surroundings. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
