I stayed at the Savic Hotel for my birthday on the 23rd August 2012 for 4 nights. My friend and I were in a twin room and what a room!!! We didn't want to leave. What a romantic place to stay in Prague, peaceful and quiet. Everything was just lovely and beautiful. The room has some original features which gave...

I guess it is irrelevant to say - after the title - that we really enjoyed our stay at Savic. We stayed in a junior suite for two nights and there was no room left for improvement, it _really_ was that good, silent and peaceful. The only minor glitch was a oddly malfunctioning tv, which decided to behave interestingly, changing...

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed and appreciated the friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfasts. We had an early start one morning and the hotel offered to make food for us to take - very generous pack of sandwiches and fruit. Hotel handy to many of the sights.

I read many reviews of many hotels before booking a room at Savic Hotel. Believe me all of those positive reviews are absolutely correct. The hotel is wonderful. The building is lovely, the rooms are spacious and very well equipped, the staff are excellent, particularly Samir in the restaurant who always had a cheery word and was exceptionally helpful, and...

I’ve read the recommendations of the Savic Hotel on the Trip Advisor and I can assure they are all true. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights in August 2012 and it was the best decision we have made. The hotel has an excellent location right in the Old Town (steps from the Charles Bridge), enormous room with...

The hotel is located in a very old building which has been extensively refurbished, but has retained the original beams and many other features. The three of us (my wife, 8 yr old son and myself) stayed in a junior suite for four nights at the start of July. Well worth it for the extra space, even though the extra...

One of the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and only a few dollars more than the typical 4-star. Very luxurious rooms. Breakfast was very good with omlets to order and anything else you could want. Staff was hit and miss. Upon check-in, a gentleman gave us a dinner suggestion that was excellent. The next day, the lady at the...

Our trip didn't get off to the best start, when we arrived to be told we'd be staying in a different hotel for our first night as 'some very horrible guests' had ruined our room. Whether this was true or they'd simply overbooked, it was very disappointing, but to be fair to the Savic, they had booked us into the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
