This hotel should form part of your Prague experience. It is located in between of the castle and the old town. In fact, it is located right next to Charles Bridge. Once you stepped out of the hotel, you can see people performing along the street and along Charles Bridge. The hotel comes with breakfast and you get to choose...

Close to all locations yet not that crazed as some parts of the old town. Service - The service was excellent we recieved everything we needed, since this is a...

My fiancée and I spent 4 nights in this hotel, and it was a truly amazing experience. From the booking service online (and solving some issues over the phone) to the cab reservation (waiting for us at the bus station) since before our arrival we had a top grade service. Arriving at the hotel, the reception service received us using...

Staff is ever so helpful. We had the opportunityto have some lunch and really tasty breakfast. I would definitelly recommend this lovely hotel to everyone.

Our first time back in Prague for 3 years, this time as tourists not as residents. We haven't stayed anywhere central before and I thought the top floor suite would give us the space we were used to and be close to everywhere we love in Prague. The room was huge and well equipped. My only gripe would be the...

For of all the location of Residence U Cerneho Orla cannot be beat! It is a stone's throw away from the Charles Bridge and within walking distance to the most important sites in Praha. Upon arriving the front desk "male" reception was lovely-he helped us with our luggage and gave us an overview on everything! He was amazing but I...

Of all the delightful experiences we had on this, our first trip to Prague, the one that truly stands out is that of walking off what is surely the city's most crowded and touristy street into this little haven of a hotel: cozy, comfortable, full of old world character, but with every facility one could reasonably demand. We were received...

I have now stayed at this hotel for a 3rd time and it only gets better. The rooms are very comfortable some with traditional Czeck decoration. I tend to book the Imperial suite which is at the top of the hotel and has superb views down to Charles Bridge and up to the castle. It is the full length of...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
