First time in Czech Republic and wanted to stay in Prague. This hotel was in the center of town. Stayed with friends so we decided to stay in our first hostel. The hotel is not one to wine and dine you with a lot of big frills but will give you a place to lay your head and get a...

I have stayed there twice, and the experience was similar. Advantages: We took a room with a private bathroom each time, and I found the price OK for Prague. The hostel is relatively easy to find, especially if you get there by tram. It's even within walking distance from the train station if you don't have a lot of luggage....

If you would like to stay really at center in Prag, you should choose here. Hotel is not New but your purpose should be to sleep only and have breakfast. Your expectation from hotel should not be so high but i can say it is safe. And about prices, i can say it was quite reasonable but we have came...

The place is good enough, and the staff very polite and cooperative. The hotel may be difficult to locate form the main road, since it is behind a hostel. It had a little old-ish look. Only a debit card with PIN with will be accepted.

This is a very good hostel for people who want to be close to the city. It is only 10-15 minutes walk to the main square, around which you can find all the tourist attractions. Bars and clubs are about 15-20 minutes so you can easily walk back to the hostel and not worry about late night public transport. In...

It's a average hostel in the central place of the city. The doorman was helpful, the cleanliness of the hostel is normal, the street is dirty. The rooms is normal too, like in a hostel, but the bed was so bad: loud and uncomfortable. The wi-fi is avalible only in the main building. And our biggest problem: When we waked...

The hotel is not easy to find because is inside a courtyard where there are other two hostels. It looks like a private building, but it's clean and good looking. The staff speaks good English and is really friendly! I suggest staying only for two-three nigths.

We paid 15€ per person per night for a private room with private bathroom, two comfortable beds and a friendly staff, what more to ask for? The hostel is located in a backyard so it was quiet at night, it was clean and well-secured, and you can reach the city center in 10 mins walk, I warmly recommend it!

The hotel is at the heart of the city and very close to metro station. And this is the only advantage. Room or service quality was average. No shampoo, slippers or hair dryers in the rooms. Breakfast was so-so.. And many teenagers making noise at inappropriate times (I'm not sure if it was a uniqe situation, but at my time,...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
