I've stayed at Hotel Eurostars Thalia from 10th to 13th of February. I'll keep this review short and to the point - I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague for both leisure or business. The location is great (about 6 minutes walk from both Charles Bridge and Wescelas Square and 10 minutes from Old Town Square), the...

Was offered the option of this hotel on my first (business) trip to Prague. I was glad I chose it. Tastefully finished and well appointed, this is a great example of how hotels should be: good, clean and spacious rooms, attentive staff, great breakfasts and free WiFi throughout. Sure, Prague has many cheaper hotels, but many of the more expensive...

The Thalia is a beautiful hotel in a great position in Prague - 15 minutes' walk from Charles Bridge and thus close to the river. All the staff we spoke to were polite and helpful, but we would like to give a special mention to Monica at reception. When we arrived she was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, even enquiring after...

This Hotel is within the center and within walking area to Charls bridge. It’s very quite hotel. Friendly help desk. Free High access internet. There is a casino just close to the hotel some time you might hear noise. The worst thing that we didn’t like at all is the breakfast. We stayed 10 nights and the menu is the...

Located close to all main places to visit in Praga, we went to all of them walking! Room, service and breakfast was superb. There was a lot of spanish speakers, so was easier for us. The price was good in my opinion.

I've just arrived home from my stay in Prague. Was a very cold week with snow, but arriving to the hotel was always warm, when accesing the reception desk, when arriving the room. It was always perfect. It's in front of Narodni divadlo, so you can just dress up and go to Opera. If you need to connect to internet...

This hotel was very clean and had a large bedroom and bathroom, it was in a great location for all the main attractions all within walking distance. We only had breakfast and it was very nice and it was served up to eleven oclock wich was good.

Short points: - unprofessional staff which main excuse is: I just work here, so your problems are not of their interest - Hotel charges 21 EUR/day for a non-existing parking (six mini places underground do not qualify as a parking), which is full even if you reserved and paid for it. To park your car you will spend about 20...

Very modern hotel - beautifully decorated (loved the bathroom). Very close to Charles Bridge (10 min slow walk) and in walking distance of several historical sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy to access from the main train station... just take the No 9 Tram ... can't remember in which direction but ask at Tourist info. Downsides are the hard beds...

Stayed three nights here with family in a triple room. The room was quite cramped and the lighting insufficient in both the room and bathroom, but overall not bad for the price we paid. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fruit, cheeses, meats and hot items as well. The staff were friendly and polite but their...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
