Good and recommended hotel in Praga, old town. The only reason to not choose this hotel is the impossibility to climb the stairs, because is not available an elevator to reach the rooms. For the rest, the description that you can find in intranet is correct and complete and the rooms are comforting and clean. The strengthness of the hotel...

Dear Sir, Thank you for your excellent feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with our hotel. You are quite right about the missing elevator as our hotel is situated in a very old, historic building, so it is, unfortunately, impossible to fit in an elevator. However, we are trying to assist everyone...

Friendly, clean, great location, simple but decent rooms, as well as a good price. I can't find any fault. The included breakfast is basic but good. The staff are helpful, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

A nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The location is perfect, close to the city center and next to the lovely Choko Cafe. Parking is private and e bit of a "tetris game" but you get help with that. Good sized clean rooms and free wifi.

We are trying our best to assist our guests with that at all times, and make up for that with its high security and convenient location in the heart of Prague. Premysyl Vanek is certainly the star and he picked us up at the airport and gave us cheap food tips but all staff very positive and helpful. Premysl is quite a scholar with a good knowledge of Czech history and worth chatting to. Perfect location, great breakfasts. Great to be in a quiet place in the center of a large...

My hubby and I were on honeymoon and Prague was our first stop. The sumptuous breakfast, and safe surrounding area were all big pluses...

Location is perfect! just 2 minutes to Charles Bridge. 3 minutes to Astronomical Clock/old town. Red Chair Hotel is in "Stare Mesto" (old town) and the streets are cobbled stones. Forget the view since it it in the narrow streets of old town. We stayed for a 2 days and rooms are average but very clean, shower and toilet is...

I had a great stay at Red Chair. After many hours of travel it was good to see Premysl's smiling face at the airport when he picked me up. The room was comfortable, clean, and modern. I greatly enjoyed the breakfast and was fascinated by the automatic espresso maker. :) The hotel also let me keep my luggage there while...

This hotel has rooms that are really college dorm rooms...not literally, but size wise that is what you can expect! Although very clean, the mattresses are very thin, the shower doors didn't work, the windows do not remain open ( it was hot and we needed air) and our room backed up to the parking lot. As for the free breakfast,...

We loved our stay at Red Chair. All of the staff was AMAZING, very nice, very accommodating, and really made our stay in Prague a special one. The manager, Premysl Vanek, was our favorite person we met on our trip. He was by far the nicest and most accommodating hotel employee we've come across in our travels. Truly a unique...

This is an ideally located (right in the middle of old town), very, very clean, cheerful, and welcoming small hotel, with a very, very thoughtful and intelligent staff--young people with a polite, easygoing mood. Rooms are immaculate and bright, but no-nonsense. If your purpose is to visit a rich, interesting city and culture with the purpose of exploring its life...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
