Since I was traveling alone I booked a single room and got a room with two single beds on either end of the room. That was fine, I used the empty bed to spread my things all over. The TV was small but I didn't really care much about it anyway. The bathroom was ok and clean, although the shower...

I stayed in this hotel during 3 nights and it was awesome! It's quite close to Charles Bridge (literally 5 minutes walking) and at walking distance from most of Prague's most important landmarks. The first night was a bit complicated due to the noise on the street but the other two nights went without any issue. My room was quite...

Friendly staff , great breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. Very central located in the middle of the town. We had a bad experience in our original hostel and needed a new place to stay late notice, the staff were very friendly and helpful and although they couldn't take us for our entire stay they allowed us to stay for one...

Absolutely loved this place - the location is perfect (literally 5 minutes from Charles Bridge); the staff are really friendly and helpful (parked my car for me, carried bags and Alenka even planned an itinerary for our following week in Slovakia! Room was clean, very spacious, with A/C, modern bathroom and decent wifi. The only downside to this place is...

We had a nice late welcoming. The staff is very helpful. The hotel in the old style is very clean, perfectly located, breakfast very nice and complete. Prague is a bursting city, and mostly on weekends, so sometimes the noise from the pedestrians with a lot of beers inside was a bit annoying, but nothing that couldn't be solved by...

Very close to the heart of Old Town Prague. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. 3-star rating is appropriate, higher rating by guests is good indicator of true value. Good-size bedroom, good-size bathroom, although the showers are small. Good basic breakfast with hot/cold items. Easy access to important tourist sites in various directions. Easy access back to hotel for a...

Super-friendly service. We were picked up by a wonderful taxi driver at midnight from the airport (after our flight was delayed) Given a guided tour and cultural insights to help with our short stay. The Hotel is very central tucked into a most delightful part of the old town, which makes it possible to walk to any part of interest...

Right in the center of the Old Town, with everything that Prague is all about just a few steps from the door; combine that with a very nice room, charmingly furnished and with a spacious and fresh bathroom; add an excellent and friendly 24/7 available staff - and you get a hint of what staying at this hotel is. We loved it here ! If you only have a few days in Prague, then Old Town is the place to stay and the Red Chair is perfectly located - close to the Square and the Charlles Bridge, lots of restaurants, shops and little galleries. The hotel arranged for airport pickup - the driver met us at the airport, was...

The hotel is located in the city center. The room we had was very big. The furniture was very nice. The breakfast was rather simple. Cars can be parked in the inner courtyard. Especially the moderate prices are unbeatable for such a central place. Rather unsuitable for disabled persons.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
