We stayed at the Lokal Inn from 10/04/2016 to 04/14/2016 and we were very good. The location is very close to Charles Bridge exceptional, in a narrow street very pretty. The staff, like all the people of Prague were kind and friendly. The room is very spacious and very clean, good and plentiful. We did not dine there because we...

We spent 4 nights at the Lokal Inn. The hotel is very close to the Charles Bridge and is therefore convenient for Prague's many places of interest. The hotel itself was a real find; large comfortable room and very quiet; friendly helpful staff and excellent food. Breakfast consisted of a buffet, plus a choice of cooked food. We ate in...

We spent 5 days at the Lokal Inn. It has very comfortable and clean rooms. As we were traveling as a family, we had two rooms. Both were lovely, with nice original ceilings, wood beams and a lovely view to the Charles Bridge tower. The room has double glazed windows so they are very quiet. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious...

We stayed at Lokal Inn for our 5 days Prague trip, centrally placed for the sights we wanted to see. We loved the 2 room flat that secured us with good space for a family of 5. Friendly staff and the downstairs restaurant was great. Restaurant quite noisy, but we could sneak down for a beer while our oldest girl...

Services are very good, the personnel is very kind and prepared. The room was great, very beautiful and clean, warm and with all the facilities needed. The position is basically perfect because is 2-step away from Charles Bridge, 10-minutes away from the Old City Square. Plus you don't have the caos of the centre bothering you during the night. Extra...

We stayed in Lokal Inn for four nights just before Easter and really enjoyed our stay. We had requested a room from upper floors and got one with a nice bed and small window in the roof right on top of our bed. My boyfriend got shocked first since the room didn't have any automatic air condition but the fan...

Such a pity that we stayed only one night in this amazing inn. They have really nice rooms. I had one of my best sleeps on their comfortable bed. They have great food in the lobby with a lively atmosphere. But be sure to reserve since the restaurant is flooded by locals every night.

Clean large room with a large bed. We spent some hours in the room every day reading a book. Location was perfekt for us, only two minutes walk from the Charles bridge. Nice staff, good service all over. Good food and drink in the restaurant.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
