I stayed here not too long ago and had a great experience. Love how close it is to everything, especially Starbucks. Just get up, walk maybe 2-3 minutes and grab a Starbs before going on a free walking tour! Beds were comfortable and showers were clean, that covers everything on my list.

I'd probably have given this place a decent review if they hadn't tried to claim we broke a window handle in one of the rooms we stayed in. I've had a look through some of the other reviews and it seems they've tried the same 'scam' with other people. Probably not a sensible move. We got the deposit back after...

It os very well located for an amazing price, it includes breakfast but its not the best. The rooms are great and it has a kitchen. I specially recommend it because for the location you get it is a very low price. They recommend very good bars to get great beer.

Prague Tyn hostel is a decent and very well located hostel in Prague. Everything is clean and tidy. However, beds are a bit squeaky and bathroom facilities are small. It is not very cosy or offering nice common areas to hang out, so you will opt for what the city offers instead. Due to the perfect location, this is quite...

Super nice staff, very clean hostel and very confortable beds! The location is very good, central and very quiet. We stayed only one night unfortunately but it was worth it! I would gladly recommend it.

I had a really good time here although i only spent one night! The staff was very nice and helpfull. Rooms were nice but while toilets are in the hallway showers are in the stairs area, which is weird.

Stayed here with 2 friends around Christmas 2014. I've always heard bad things about hostels so I was a bit leery about staying here considering the low cost per night but this was a great experience. The breakfast is simple but we just took our sandwiches and popped them in our bags for later then headed off to Starbucks (less...

My group and I stayed here for 5 nights in January. The bedrooms were all really good and comfortable and everything you want in a hostel, as were the bathrooms. Everything was really modern and kept very clean. We didn’t have any noise problems at all. The only thing I would complain about was the included breakfast. I didn’t expect...

Super hostel, right in the centre of the Old Town. Went to Prague on a whim with 3 friends, and little planning. Cheap flights and stayed in a 4 bed dorm. We were aged 30-45! I'm sure it depends on who's there at the time you stay, but it was quiet, clean and perfect for our trip. We stayed in...

I recently spent 3 nights in Hostel Prague Tyn. It was very hard to find it from the metro station! Next time I'll just walk to the Old Town Square and slip underneath one of the arches in front of the Tyn Church. The location is excellent. The breakfast is basic, but sufficient. The sandwich-for-the-road which one can collect at...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
