A thoroughly lovely 3 night stay in a Deluxe room. The location was just perfect for us - outside of the main noise areas but with easy walking distance of the throng of things (albeit it might be a bit of a climb for people with less mobility) Our room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. All staff were very pleasant and helpful if you needed anything. Also, all communication with reception prior to arrival to arrange airport transfers was speedy and reassuring.
Finally, I would definitely recommend the restaurant just round the corner called ‘Tast’. It has a limited menu but wow, what quality, service and ambiance, and at a great price for what you get.

From my very first phone call to Appia Hotel Residences – asking if I could secure a same-day reservation – until AFTER my stay (there is a story there, which I will not get into), I was met with warmth, graciousness, kindness, helpfulness, patience, and generosity. Helena and Pavel bent over backwards to accommodate anything and everything I needed, especially at check-out when I was having difficulty securing an Uber to the airport. My room was a beautiful, peaceful, and unexpectedly huge sanctuary that was attended to daily. The breakfast room was a magical space to eat in, and the offerings delicious, fresh, and numerous. I especially appreciated the fresh fruit that was always available on the mornings when I only had time to grab and go. The location is also fantastic–Malá Strana is scenic, charming, quiet, and within comfortable walking distance of anything one would want to see. I absolutely adored my stay at Appia Hotel Residences, and all of the hard-working staff I interacted with. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have discovered it, and cannot wait to return. I have found my special place.

We had the best experience with the lovely staff, from the lady at the reception who tried to fulfill all our wishes and was always in a good mood, to the lovely summer intern who took care of our perfect breakfast buffet, to the diligent room tidying bees.
This house is a true oasis of well-being, in the huge room really only the improvised bathroom takes some getting used to.
The location is ideal for exploring the castle and all the surrounding attractions such as Strahov Monastery, Petrin Lookout Tower or of course the world famous Charles Bridge.

We had a lovely stay at the Appia hotel. The hotel is perfectly located in Prague, a very short walk from the castle and we could do all the rest of our visits without using any transport as it was all walking distance. The people working at the reception were all very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and has everything you need and the breakfast was just amazing. It was also very easy to get there with public transports from the airport. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we go to Prague.

The hotel is located in the Mala Strana district at the foot of the castle, in a quiet and well-attended area, surrounded by several embassies. The rooms are very large, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom large and also equipped with bidet. The hotel provides bathrobes, towels, courtesy kit, slippers, coffee machine. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and served in a really cute quaint attic. The hotel is located in a quiet area. The Charles Bridge is a 10 minute walk and in 20 minutes you reach the historic center and so we never had to use transport. the value for money is great. Around the hotel there are several restaurants that are not as crowded as those in the center and also several shops. I do not recommend it only to people who do not want to walk 20 minutes to reach the center and make a little piece uphill to go back. Otherwise it is a convenient and convenient solution. The staff is also friendly and always ready to provide all the information you need to best visit the city.

There's a reason this is one of the top 10 hotels in Prague. It's a beautiful interior, with comfortable, large rooms, and an excellent breakfast. The service is great and there is always someone at the front desk to address any needs. The rooms are quiet, and I appreciated air conditioning during the late summer heat wave in Prague. The location is just a bit uphill from Lesser Town and options for bus or tram transport to get you anywhere in the city, and just downhill and an easy walk from the Prague Castle. The area is pretty with lots to see and do and many dining options. Plus I was able to get a discount for a week-long stay. What's not to like?

We stayed here from Friday to Sunday and everything was faultless. The room was very spacious, warm and very clean and the bed was a very large double. It is in an ideal location for two of Prague’s main attractions, Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, both walkable in less than 10 minutes. The breakfast choice was vast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, various hams, cheeses, vegetables, various types of bread, cakes, fruits, pancakes etc etc.
Helena, the lady on reception, was very friendly and very helpful. It also has a cozy bar/lounge area.
If we ever go back to Prague, we will definitely stay there again.

This is one of the best hotel I have ever stay! Staff is absolutely amazing, especially Pavel, Helena and Roman! They treat you like a family, what an amazing human being they are! We are leaving to airport at 2:30 am, they arranged a taxi for us for very reasonable price and also they gave us a package of treats and water, we felt like we have a home away from the home and definitely will be back
Rooms are big, bathroom is huge, mini bar in the room, very comfortable big beds, everything that ones need to enjoy the trip. Breakfast is free and absolutely delicious! Wide variety of baking goods, hot and cold dishes, fruits, coffee and tea. They even offer tiramisu one day, absolutely yummy! Thank you guys for all your wonderful customer service skills, we will definitely be back

Very cool location in old town, if you are looking a hotel with a little medieval atmosphere+ todays comfortness- it is the one you should choose. Everything in walking distance- restaurants, old town center and chirchbells ringing. We had a very pleasent stay in the attic apartment- very big, has everything you need, maybe more power outlets nearby the bed could be useful :) Or just take longer charging cables with you, there are outlets, but against the attic walls in the distance:). We travelled with ev and the car charging was very helpful in the parking garage. Beware that the parking can be tricky with a larger car, but we somehow managed :) The customer service was excellent and also the breakfast was nice and cosy.

As for restaurants, just down the street at 50 m there is a tiny restaurant (with a small terrace) where you can get simple but well made local dishes. And in the street leading to the castle, a few hundred meters above the hotel, there are several very good restaurants, including a delicious vegan place. About taxis, it is easy to go to the hotel ( which is very close to the German embassy), and the staff will very willingly get you a taxi ( we had one to leave for the airport, for visiting, it is really easy to walk) Have a good stay in Praha

It all depends on how much you want to spend. And you should not restrict yourself to Mala Strana since it is easy and inexpensive to go by taxi to restaurants in other parts of Prague. During our short visit to Prague we ate at: St. Martin which is very close to Appia and inexpensive, 46 pounds for 2 of us La Veranda which is more suitable for an anniversry dinner but still reasonably priced, 86 pounds for 2 of us Mincovna which is another inexpensive place to eat, 57 pounds for 2 of us Bellevue which is on the other side of the Charles bridge and some tables have a view of the bridge. One of the more expensive Prague restaurants where we had dinner on our last night in Prague. Service is exceptional, 149 pounds and by far the most we spent for dinner during our 16 days in London, Warsaw, Krakow and Prague. Congratulations on 10 years and hopefully many more to come. My wife and I are now at 52, having been married in London in 1966 and moved to the US in 1968.
